Grave dirt and salt...
Known commonly as grave dirt this substance is not Always literally dirt from an grave but it often is...
Im not going to specify how or why one might come into contact with grave dirt and I dont want to give anybody any new ideas involving it either; however, to an empath it acts sort of like a bio toxin. eminating tiny particles that attack the emotional core and cause head aches, nauesea and negative feelings.
Salt does wonders to cleanse the lingering effects of the grave dirt (this is eminated by high level necromancers or other black mages sometimes) add in incense or even a wind sending cantrip plus an open door since the substance has both ground and airborne components.
If you lack salt; spitting on a grave dirt trail will also work as a last resort. This tactic is likely to draw the ire of the original caster though.
Where is grave dirt likely to be? Obviously in and around grave yards; however, commonly used public areas hidden by shadow or other liminal spaces accessible by anyone can be affected.
Also, grave dirt can get mixed in with normal dirt anywhere not just in haunted houses and s**t so be aware. If you are experiecing head aches, nauseau, and/or negative feelings in a certain space this may indicate the presence of grave dirt there.
Not everyone is able to detect the presence of grave dirt in environments and not everyone will be overtly affected by its precense either. Some may experience different effects from the presence of grave dirt and not all grave dirt would be unholy - some types would be positively aligned or neutral as well.
