Focusing on the Trinity
Christians are monotheists, meaning we believe in only one God. Yet we talk about the doctrine of the Trinity. In the church year, the Sunday after Pentecost is known as Trinity Sunday. It’s a day for focusing on what theologians call the Triune God — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Someone said about the concept of the Trinity, “You will lose your soul if you don’t believe it, and you will lose your mind if you try to explain it.”

The bottom line is this: God (one Person) has been revealed to mankind in three ways. He is our Creator, who then came to Earth as our Savior (in the person of Jesus) and is eternally present with us as the Holy Spirit.

On Trinity Sunday, we praise our Triune God for meeting all our needs.

Grateful for Those Who Gave All
We remember, O Lord, the men and women who have made the supreme sacrifice for our country. Help us never to breathe the air of freedom, claim the right to justice or enjoy the privilege of worship without deep gratitude for those who gave “the last full measure of devotion” for our sake.

May they now know the peace of eternity and the joy of your presence. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

SCHOOL IS OFFICIALLY OUT…IT’S TIME TO REGISTER FOR CAMP LUTHER!

Check out the camp options and dates below for Grades 1-4-Explorer, Grades 4-6-Discovery and Grades 6-9-Adventure. There are also specialty camps-OWL Camp (up all night/sleep during day) was my kid’s favorite! We would love to see all our youth experience Camp Luther again! And it’s an even better experience if they can go together with friends!
We would caravan down to camp!

Camp Luther is an LCMS outdoor ministry located in the woods of Schuyler Nebraska. Programming includes both summer camp and year-round retreats for men, women, youth and those with special needs.

We had a great time at our 1st monthly night of food, fellowship, family, and fun!
Please join us every 3rd Sunday of the month! Next month, we are going to BBQ, fire pit, and play yard games. More details to come.
