What could Bruce Springsteen’s “Thunder Road” possibly have to do with the Bible?

More than you might think.

NEW series kick off this Sunday 10:30am!

⚡️Classic Faith ⚡️

A new series exploring the human experiences behind classic rock songs and the deeper hope offered through Scripture.

Come hear the music, consider the story, and discover a faith that still speaks to real life.

We spend so much of our lives surrounded by noise, rushing from one thing to the next, and filling every quiet moment. But in Luke 5, Jesus repeatedly modeled something different. In the midst of growing crowds, increasing demands, and endless opportunities to minister, He often withdrew to lonely places and prayed (Luke 5:16).

At Bible study tonight we were reminded that intimacy with God isn't found in the loudest moments—it's cultivated in the quiet ones.

The enemy is content to keep us distracted with noise, hurry, and constant activity because those things often drown out the gentle voice of God. But when we intentionally step away, open His Word, and spend time in prayer, we create space to hear the One who has been speaking all along.

This week, make room for silence. Turn off the distractions. Slow your pace. Seek the presence of Jesus.

"But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed." — Luke 5:16

Join us next week! Wednesday’s at 6pm!

For our last night on SonTreasure Island we leaned that God's Love is Forever! If we believe that Jesus came to earth to take the punishments for our sins we can live FOREVER with him.

As our shirts say..."love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13:7-8
Read that again and change the word love to Jesus... he is all those things and so much more. JESUS NEVER FAILS.

Thank you for spending the week with us on island time and we look forward to seeing you next year!

Last night on SonTreasure Island we learned that’s God’s Love is Forgiving. The great news is that God’s Love doesn’t hold grudges and rejoices when we tell the truth. We can always trust God to forgive us when we ask.

Just like Zacchaeus was forgiven when he asked Jesus. Jesus will forgive our sins too if we only ask.

Our Island adventure ends tonight at 8:00 with our big Family Night Presentation.

God’s Love is Caring. This is a big one… God’s love is for EVERYONE — even people who make us angry or people others don’t care about. God’s love is so great that it helps us show love to everyone.

Jesus was thirsty when he met the woman at the well… he knew others did not like her and he knew the kind of life she had led BUT he loved and cared for her anyway. He knows all of our faults yet he loves and cares for us.

TONIGHT IS TACKY TOURIST NIGHT… we are dressing the part of island tourist, doors open at 5:30 for dinner and VBS starts at 6:00.
