Notice of Episcopal Transition
With profound sorrow and deep gratitude to God for a life well-lived, we announce that Chief Apostle John E. Wilson, our beloved Founder and Pastor of St. John’s Full Gospel Deliverance Church, has transitioned from labor to reward.
For more than six decades, Chief Apostle Wilson faithfully served God’s people with unwavering devotion, visionary leadership, and a shepherd’s heart.
His ministry has touched countless lives—restoring families, empowering believers, and advancing the Kingdom of God throughout Bloomfield, Connecticut, and beyond.
While our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing that he now rests in the presence of the Lord whom he served so diligently.
At this time, no official arrangements have been made, but additional details will be shared as soon as they are available.
We ask that you keep the Wilson family and the entire St. John’s Church family lifted in prayer during this sacred time of transition.
Let us continue to honor Apostle Wilson’s legacy by walking in unity, faith, and love—just as he taught us to do.
