ANNOUNCEMENTS for Grace of God Church:
1. This Sunday, November 30th, there will be a Membership Ceremony during the morning worship service for anyone who is interested in joining Grace of God Church. Attached to this email is the Grace of God Church Bylaws, Membership Agreement, and Membership Ceremony for your review. One of the church membership requirements is that you participate in a Membership Ceremony at a regular church service to profess your membership in Grace of God Church. Therefore, if you wish to join as a member, you can let a Church Council member (Duane, Butch, Denny, Deb H., or Rhonda) know in advance or you can also inform us on Sunday morning. If this Sunday does not work for you, arrangements can be made for you to become a member on any Sunday that is convenient for you.
2. This Sunday, November 30th, is also “Potluck Sunday” at Grace of God Church following the worship service!! Everyone is welcome to come and share in the delicious food and enjoy a time of fellowship. After the potluck, the Worship Committee is planning to decorate the Church for Christmas, and everyone is invited to stay and help if they would like to!
3. Party Club for children in Preschool through 6th grade will be held at Grace of God Church on Monday, December 1st, from 3:45 to 5:00 p.m. The theme for the December Party Club is the “True Gift of Christmas”. (Please see the poster that is attached.) Party Club is held at the Church the first Monday of each month unless there is no school that day. Please spread the word about Party Club to your children, grandchildren, and neighbor children!! If you are interested with helping with snacks, there is a sign-up sheet at the Church.
4. Every year in December, the Churches in Bloomfield participate in the Yankton Area Banquet where a meal is served to those in need at the Yankton United Church of Christ, 210 W. 5th Street. This year the banquet is on Thursday, December 4th, and help from our Church is needed for food prep (3:00-5:00 pm), serving food/and clean up (5:00-7:00 pm). Bars or cookies can also be provided. Attached to this email is the sign-up sheet showing the slots that are still available. If you are interested in helping, please sign-up at church this Sunday or let Rhonda know by December 2nd.
5. On Sunday, December 7th, Pastor Justin Raulston will be giving the message during the morning worship service at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Justin has given the message at Grace of God Church twice before and his messages have been very meaningful and insightful.

8. And lastly, please keep the family of Amy Willats in your thoughts and prayers. Don, Amy’s husband, texted me on Thursday afternoon to say that Amy passed away that morning (Thanksgiving Day). Many of you knew Don and Amy as they were part of the Bloomfield community and United Methodist Church for many years before they moved to Scottsbluff to be closer to family. Don’s address is 320 E. 42nd St., Apt. S102, Scottsbluff, NE 69361-1692.
