“There are so many powerful instances of the Holy Spirit working in this parish, and I know God will continue to work through you all” - Fr. Richard Dorsch.

We celebrate Fr. Rich today as he departs for his next chapter at St. Mary University in Baltimore, MD. While he is with us for a couple more weeks, we give thanks to God for the blessings he has shared with the St. Hugo of the Hills community. Sacraments, his wisdom, his compassionate reflection, and his embodiment of the Catholic Faith that will endure not just here, but with others he will meet on his continued journey.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this farewell possible, and thank you to Fr. Mark Brauer, and especially, thank you Fr. Rich.

Today, we celebrate Corpus Christi—the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. Following Mass at St. Hugo of the Hills, parishioners joined in a Eucharistic procession to the Chapel, publicly witnessing our faith and honoring Christ truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. May this beautiful tradition deepen our love for Our Lord and strengthen us as a parish family.

"I pray for each of you every day, you will forever hold a great place in my heart. Thank you for sharing your lives with me, and I hope to see again at the altar of God, even if not here, somewhere along the way"- Fr. Richard Dorsch

We celebrated our end-of-year School Mass with Fr. Rich, and with a blessing from Fr. Mark Brauer, the students, and faculty, prayed for his spiritual journey of learning ahead.

As we honor our 8th grade during the Graduation Mass today, we also give our thanks to God for bringing us Fr. Richard Dorsch, who celebrates his 3rd anniversary of ordination today. His wisdom and guidance is ceaseless. St. Hugo of the Hills is honored to have had him guide our students, parishioners, and community. Congratulations to Fr. Rich on this milestone, and to all our Graduates! Can we get an Amen?
