🎉 Kickoff Sunday is almost here!

It’s time to come back together, reconnect with your church family, and kick off a new season at Christ Church Cranbrook!

Here’s what you can expect on Sunday, September 13:

- Sunday School for all ages
- Our choirs singing
- A Ministry Fair to discover all the ways you can get involved
- Hot dogs and good food
- A bounce house for the kids

Come ready to be filled with joy, meet someone new, and find your place in our community. We can’t wait to celebrate the start of a new year together!

When the storm comes, where do we turn?

“Take heart. It is I. Do not be afraid.”

Serenity isn’t freedom from the storm but finding peace within it. With Jesus beside us, we can face our fears, surrender our self-centered ways, and step more deeply into God’s mission of love and into deeper relationship with our neighbors.

The Lord is near. He is on our lips and in our hearts. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

We're often waiting for someone else to step in. Someone more qualified. More experienced. More prepared.

But in this week's Gospel, Jesus reminds us that we are His hands and feet in the world. The disciples thought they didn't have enough, yet Jesus showed them that God can do extraordinary things with ordinary people who are willing to say yes.

You don't need to have all the answers. Start with the gifts God has already given you, and trust Him with the rest.
