BBC Family & Friends,
The BBC Youth Group will be taking a mission trip to Minneapolis to volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House. One of our own students has been blessed by this organization and we want to give back by helping them set up and run a road race which is their yearly fundraiser.

Since we will be helping with a road race on our mission trip, we thought it would be fitting to have our very own Bloomer Baptist Church walk/run event as a fundraiser to help defray the costs of our trip.

On Sunday, June 28th right after the service, we will be hosting a walk/run fundraiser right here on the church property. Anyone who is able to walk one mile is encouraged to participate. The entry fee is only $5 per family, so this is a great way to have fun, get some exercise, and support our youth! Invite a friend or neighbor to join you as well!

To make this a little interesting, we are adding a twist to this mile. The youth who are attending the trip will have to eat a waffle after every quarter mile and will be racing to see who can finish first. Even if you are not able to walk a mile, please join us in spectating and cheering on our youth as they tackle the Waffle Mile 2026.

There will also be two additional opportunities at this event. For a free will offering, after the walk/run, we will be serving up ice cream in none other than waffle cones! There will also be the opportunity to donate money to go towards blankets for the people staying at Ronald McDonald House. On the trip the youth will be making fleece tie blankets to donate to the Rochester Ronald McDonald House where the Bowes stay when they are at Mayo for treatments. We have also purchased additional new blankets to donate. We'd love for BBC to be able to give back to an organization that has blessed a family from our fellowship.

Remember, the Waffle Mile is on Sunday, June 28th. Wear your walking shoes, come with an appetite for ice cream, and join us for some fun as we raise money for our youth mission trip!

BBC Family and Friends,
Come worship with us tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.—and after the service, stick around for our All-Generation Connections Luncheon!
Let's gather around the table TOGETHER as one church family of many ages and backgrounds. Challenge yourself to mix it up, sit with someone you don't know very well, whether they're younger or older than you, and enjoy some great conversation over delicious food.
Don't forget to bring:
A dish to share
Your favorite game, or more than one, to teach and play with others
We'll enjoy good food, meaningful connections, plenty of laughter, and a fun afternoon together.

Here's a challenge for this week—and really, for life:
WATCH YOUR MOUTH; wash it with godliness.
The words that come out of our mouths reveal the character within. Do your words reflect godliness, love, grace, and uplifting hope—or worldliness, negativity, foul language, bad attitude, and compromise? When we evaluate our words, it causes us to also evaluate our hearts and our souls desires.
SCRIPTURE SPEAKS HERE:
"Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." — Matthew 12:34

"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." — Ephesians 4:29

Before we speak, we should ask ourselves:

Our mouths reveal what fills our hearts. May our words be seasoned with grace and love, rooted in truth, and used to build others up for the glory of God, stirring them UP for Godly love and works of His desire.
