The Lord has truly blessed us by allowing us to pack and pay shipping for 770 shoeboxes this year, through Samaritan's Purse. We are praying that each one falls into hands that will be open to receive Christ and thereby, impacting those around them. Thank you Lord for allowing us to take part in Your Great Commission.

All through God's Word He instructs us on how to pray and what we should pray for. Prayer is communication with God. Without it, we would not be saved for we would not have listened to His call for salvation and responded by surrendering to Him. As a Christian, prayer is an integral part of how He guides us and molds us into His likeness. Modern religion and secularism have made prayer seem impersonal and often something totally different than what it should be. When we pray we should keep in mind who we are praying to and be aware of the manner and spirit in which we pray. Would you join us as we focus the next few weeks on "Talking with God"? As the song says, "Let us have a little talk with Jesus" .

Hallelujah! We had a wonderful worship service today. Eddie Saffel and Timmy Stanley were ordained as deacons this morning. These two men have shown to be true followers of Christ and have shown to be faithful to God, their families, our church, our community and more by having the hearts of good and faithful servants. We are so blessed to have these men in our lives.
