It seems that suffering and difficulty are all around us. The three words Peter uses to describe what God is doing right now is suffering, grief and trails. These are three words that most of us hope doesn’t describe our life’s. We don’t get up every morning and pray, Lord if you love me you’ll send me more suffering. Suffering isn’t a failure of Gods plan in your life, in reality it’s an important part of God’s plan. We will all face difficult times in our life’s, God is opening our hands so we will let go of our dreams and plans, rest in his comforts and take up his call. In hard moments even though you think God has forgotten you, God is giving the exact grace you need for the situation. In our struggles and trails God is right there with us, step by step.

I hate to say this 2 weeks in a row, but service is cancelled due to snow, which might make driving a little hazardous. Service might be cancelled but the church is open. If you can safely help your neighbor this weekend be the church!!!

Lord, what’s really going on in this World and in my own little World? So much of it is confusing. I just want to be faithful to you! Help me today to understand enough to be obey you and to believe that you are at work even when I have doubts.
