All are welcome to join us in the stillness of Quaker Meeting for Worship on Sundays, 11:00 A.M. -12noon.

Rockland Friends Meeting, the Quaker community in Blauvelt, stands with our LGBTQ+ friends and allies at the Nyack Pride Parade this Sunday. By standing together, we affirm that every person has worth, that love conquers fear and violence, and that our communities thrive when all are welcomed.

After the parade, find out more about the Quakers at a Welcome Gathering and Worship from 2:00-3:30 at The Angel Nyack. We'll have time to meet, then settle in to a silent, peaceful period of worship from 2:30-2:50. Kids are welcome.

Rockland Friends Meeting will participate in the Blauvelt town-wide Yard Sale on Saturday, April 25, 9am-4pm.

Swing on by to 60 Leber Road. The sale will take place inside our Meetinghouse, rain or shine. There is ample parking.

Here’s a sneak peek of some of the things we’re selling. Lots of clothes and homeware.

After our annual Tree Trim, wherein members and attenders are welcome to place an ornament that symbolizes 2025 for them and to share a brief message on its meaning, the Meeting closed Meeting for Worship by singing a gentle version of “Oh Little Town of Bethlehem,” accompanied by one of our attenders on the banjo.
