It's time to celebrate Pastor Gary Kuzins as we reach the six-year anniversary of his servitude here at our little church. Gary does a great job of modeling Christ's desire to pursue the one. He is generous with his time to sit with people and connect with them by merely trying to help them take their next small step in following Jesus. No task is beneath him as a pastor, whether that's taking out the trash, filling water cups, moving chairs, or sharing the Word of God. LIGHT NIGHT 2026 IS COMING!

Interested in helping make this year’s Light Night happen? Come be part of the planning! We’re holding a Light Night Planning Meeting on Sunday, September 13, at 4 PM in the FBC Blanco Fellowship Hall.

Whether you’ve volunteered before or this would be your first year, we’d love to have you there as we begin planning for Light Night 2026!

COME TO THE TABLE
A WOMEN’S WORSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP EVENT

First Baptist Church of Blanco

Join us for an afternoon designed to bless and honor the women of our church through worship, prayer, testimony, a catered meal and sweet fellowship.

Worship, prayer and testimony will take place in the Sanctuary from 3:00–4:30 PM, followed by a catered meal and fellowship in the Fellowship Hall from 4:30–6:00 PM. Worship will be led by Abby Weldon, with a testimony from Shannan Painter and a dedicated time of prayer.

Tickets are $12 per person. Seating is limited. Each table will be uniquely styled by an FBC member host to create a special setting for meaningful conversation and fellowship. Child care will be available for $5 per child or $10 per family.

The Food Bank will be at First Baptist Church Blanco on August 29th from 9:00–10:30 AM.

Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

It is time to celebrate the one-year mark of Judi Hagood joining our staff as the Administrative Assistant. She is the first, friendly face people see when they walk in the doors during the week. Judi is the glue that keeps our facilities running, while helping with the many logistics and bookkeeping needs in a growing church. One of her many gifts is as an encourager. This morning, we had the incredible joy of celebrating nine baptisms in the Blanco River as they publicly declared their faith in Jesus!

What a beautiful picture of God’s work in the lives of these families. Church family, let’s keep praying for these nine as they continue to grow in their faith and follow Jesus. Nine baptisms. One Savior. One incredible morning!
