Church family,
After much prayer and serious reflection, I need to share that we will be canceling service tomorrow and I want to be transparent that this pause may be permanent.
Scripture tells us in 1 Timothy 3:4–5, “He must manage his own household well… for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God’s church?” Right now, I need to be honest before God and before you: there are matters in my own home that require my full attention, and I am not stewarding that responsibility as I am called to do.
This is deeply saddening for me to say, and I am sincerely sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this causes. This decision was not made lightly. A shepherd is first called to lead his household well, and at this moment, obedience requires me to step back and focus there.
Thank you for your grace, your prayers, and your understanding during this time. Please continue to pray for my family as I seek the Lord’s direction for what comes next.
