As you know we are expecting rather serious weather conditions on Saturday. Here are a few things you can do today (don't wait til Friday) to prepare yourself.

1.) Have bottled water on hand.
2.) Have spare batteries on hand (for flashlights).
3.) Have grocery items on hand that do not require cooking or heating up.
4.) Charge your cell phones and laptops on Friday.
5.) Have firewood in case of a power outage.
6.) If you have gas logs, leave the continuous pilot light on so that you can ignite the logs in case of a power outage.
7.) Make sure you have enough pet food and water on hand for your fur-babies.
8.) Make sure your vehicles are fueled up in case of an emergency.

If at all possible, stay home on Saturday and check weather and road conditions before leaving for church services on Sunday.
