Sunday's Sermon: Not a Laughing Matter . . . Matthew 9:18-26 - In all 3 Gospel accounts the people laugh at Jesus when He announces that Jairus' daughter is not dead but asleep! Although I believe that Jesus had a sense of humor, He was perfect! 100% man and 100% God, I don't believe that He was ever about bringing humor into the tragedies of human life. Come this Sunday and hear a message from God's Word for God's people!

This coming Sunday, April 29th our congregation will be joining the Second Baptist Church of Blairsville for Worship and Fellowship! Pastor Cory will be bringing the morning message. The service will begin at 11:00 AM at Second Baptist which is located next to Tractor Supply in Blairsville on East Campbell Street. Rev. Ronnie Morris is the Pastor of Second Baptist Church.

It was a blessing to be back in the pulpit on Sunday back at First Baptist in Blairsville. This Sunday we will be looking into the Early Church and the kind of trouble believers got into back then. We had a great time of Worship last Sunday with our Guest Minister, Rev. Charles Bowser and Family. Pastor Cory was at FBC Greensburg and also enjoyed the pulpit exchange in our Laurel Baptist Association. See you in Church tomorrow! Bright and early at 10:00AM!

It has been a long time since anything has been posted on our page. We are going to try and do better! Thank you for your patience.

This Sunday, April 8th we will have a Guest Pastor - Rev. Charles Bowser from the First Baptist Church of Jeanette, PA. We are participating in a Pulpit Exchange in our Laurel Association of American Baptists and Pastor Cory will be at the First Baptist Church of Greensburg. Keep all our pastors in your prayers as they prepare God's Word each Sunday!

This Sunday, December 10th, we will be continuing in our Advent Series. Last Sunday we looked at the Advent of Hope as our First Sunday in Advent occurred. This Sunday we will be looking at the Advent of Preparation. We will ask ourselves just how much preparation we put into coming to worship each Sunday. I hope you will join us as we continue to look towards the coming of the Christ Child. See you at 10am this Sunday!

This past Sunday we went to East Mahoning Baptist Church in Commodore for our Laurel Association Meeting. We were challenged to be involved in a "mission trip" either at home or abroad sometime in 2018. We also decided as an Association to launch a page for the Laurel Baptist Association to help us better communicate with one another amongst our churches. I am not sure what the name of it will be but I will let you know as soon as I find out. God is good and we will continue preach God's Word each Sunday and trust Him for the results. Come join us any Sunday for worship at 10:00 AM.
