Pie Parlor at the Washington County Fair 2026 was a huge success!! We took 38 pies made by congregation members and sold every slice!
A total of $1160 was generated by this fundraiser with $500 earmarked for fellowship activities and $660 for small building projects and maintenance.
Thank you to the bakers, the servers, and all who visited us at the Pie Parlor.

VBS 2026 was held July 6 through 9. This year’s theme was based on the hymn “Wake, Awake, for Night is Flying.” The children learned that Jesus, our Bridegroom, will come again to take us to heaven where we will spend eternity. More than two dozen children participated in this year’s VBS program!

Day One Bible Story: The Triumphal Entry Matthew 21:1-11
Central Truth: Christ who came once, will come again.
Bible Verse: “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
Catechism Connection: Apostles’ Creed, Second Article

Day Two Bible Story: Peter Realizes His Sinfulness Luke 5:1-11
Central Truth: Christ awakens us to our need for His salvation. This prepares us for His return.
Bible Verse: “If we confess our sins, [God] is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
Catechism Connection: Confession, “What sins should we confess?”

Day Three Bible Story: The Parable of the Ten Virgins (Maidens) Matthew 25:1-13
Central Truth: We prepare for Jesus’ return with the means of grace.

Trinity’s bakers will be providing pies for the 2026 Washington County Fair Pie Parlor. The annual fundraiser will be from noon until 4pm this Sunday, Aug. 2.
Due to construction work in the church parking lot, and limited access to the Fellowship Hall, bakers are asked to bring their pies to the church narthex this Sunday morning.
Pie donations are still needed, and anyone interested in volunteering at the Pie Parlor is welcome to join those who have signed up to volunteer.

EVENING VBS SLATED!
Join the fun at VBS at Trinity! “Wake, Awake: Watching for Jesus” will be held Monday, July 6 through Thursday July 9 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair.
Trinity will once again provide dinner at 5 pm with VBS starting at 5:30 and concluding at 730 pm. Our Bible stories, crafts, games, music, and catechism connections will share the hope-filled message that Jesus, our Savior, will come again!
VBS is held for children 3 years of age (and potty independent) through 6th grade.
