First Sunday we have had Sunday School since Covid-19 started. Good attendance. Starts at 9:30 and church service at 10:30. Hope to see everyone next Sunday.

We celebrated Pastor Day on Sunday, October 24, 2021, Pastor John Epps and his wife Sally have been at our Church for 22 years. He Was given several cards and a wooden tray with a picture of the church etched into it by Cole Taylor. A meal was served after the morning service as part of the celebration. Pastor Epps was called by the Lord to our Church and many things happened to lead him here to Cool Branch Baptist Church. He has remained here since and served our church well. His sermons are scriptural well studied and presented in an easy to understand way. Occasionally adding a little humor or a story of his past. His Faithfulness and good stewardship has guided the members of Cool Branch Church through many situations. We are proud to have him as our Pastor along with Sally his wife and hope the Lord will let them be with us for years to come. We thank you Lord for sending Pastor Epps and Sally to our Church.

Our Youth group is printing and selling cookbooks to raise money for their church activities. Ladies in our church from the past to present have given us their favorite recipes through the years for the cookbook. The Holidays are a great time to give as gifts. The cost of the cook books are $20.00 a book and $25.00 if mailed (includes postage). Send us your name, address, phone number and number of books you would like. We appreciate your support.

Seniors are going to Hendersonville, NC today but all who want to go are welcomed. We will be looking for some good apples and anything else good to eat. Of course, a quick stop at Hardee’s for breakfast first and before coming back lunch at Cracker Barrel. Hopefully we will see some colorful leaves too.
