🎉 The Johnsville Neighborhood Blaine Garage Sales Weekend is almost here! 🎉

This Saturday, May 9th, come enjoy a beautiful spring day of treasure hunting, bargain finding, food truck eating, neighborhood walking, and community connecting!

We already have close to 100 garage sales listed on the map, all within walking distance throughout the Johnsville neighborhood. Whether you’re hunting for kids’ clothes, tools, toys, furniture, vintage finds, or that one random thing you didn’t know you needed until you saw it for $2… this is your day.

📍 Start at Way of the Lord Church
804 131st Ave NE, Blaine, MN

We’ll have:

🚗 Free parking on campus
🚻 Two portable restrooms available
🏰 Smaller bouncy houses for little kids
💧 A welcoming campus hub while you shop the neighborhood

We are shocked, appalled, and are grieving at the murder of Charlie Kirk. Please pray for his family and that his tragic death (at the young age of 31) will not be in vain. May our young people here in this community (and all across this country) grow up to carry God's heart like Charlie did. May God avenge his death by raising up an army of truth-tellers and Jesus-followers who won't back down, even when truth is unpopular or trampled in the streets.

Like Christ, you gave us a great example of how to speak the truth in love, Charlie.

URGENT: This morning, tragedy struck Annunciation Catholic School in South Minneapolis. A shooting during an all-school morning Mass has left lives lost and many injured. Our hearts are broken, and we grieve with the families, students, teachers, and church community.

As followers of Christ, we are called to “bear one another’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2). Today, we stand in prayer and solidarity with Annunciation.

Pray with us:
– For comfort and healing for every student, parent, and teacher at Annunciation.
– For peace to cover the entire Annunciation community.
– For God’s nearness to bring comfort and hope in the midst of darkness.

Lord, have mercy. Christ, bring peace.

We are excited for our upcoming "Generational Vision Weekend" where we will be hosting some nearby friends of ours in the Body of Christ from Adoration Church in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Our featured speakers are Brian Roraff (the ministry leader of Adoration School in La Crosse, WI) and his son, Joseph Roraff (part of the teaching team at Adoration Church). They will be coming with their families to impart God’s Word with us on Saturday night (Feb 15) at 7 PM and on Sunday morning (Feb 16) at 10 AM. We highly encourage you to rally your soul, your family, and your schedule for this weekend, and come out to be strengthened and reenvisioned for the journey ahead!
