It’s going to be a fun Summer at BPC! Mark your calendars: Vacation Bible School is coming up July 23rd-25th (Monday – Wednesday) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Wrigglesworth Sports Complex in Blackstone. For those of you who have not been before, we join with several other churches in the community to sponsor this event! There are crafts, and water games, singing and cheering, and story time lessons for the little ones, all with Jesus in mind. This event is FREE FOR ALL participants! All kids are welcome P-K through 6th grade. Volunteers are especially blessed. THIS SUNDAY IS THE DAY! Join us Sunday, April 30, at 10:00 a.m. in Seay Park for a special time of worship with churches from all across Blackstone We are going to try to fill Seay Park with God's family, and it will be WONDERFUL. Think BLESSING, PRAISE, JOY, and ENCOURAGEMENT. Bring a canned food item for the "offering" to HELP's food bank. Also, a lawn chair is a good idea.

Our youth are headed to the Walk Through Bethlehem experience at First Baptist in Hopewell this Saturday. All are invited to join. We will leave from our church at 2:45. It is free, but you are encouraged to bring a canned food as a donation. Bring money for dinner on the way back. It is big and fun. There is no admission fee, but a voluntary donation of a canned food item will be gladly accepted and given to the Hopewell Food Pantry.

Trunk or Treaters! We need help with our Trunk or Treat event for Monday. We don't have as many trunks coming as we would like, but we expect a bumper crop of kids (counting on 700!). If you or anyone you know might be interested in having a trunk at the event, please come. It can be as simple or as elaborate as you want, and you do need to bring candy. This is an evangelistic event in our community and a good alternative to the scary stuff. Churches are part of the community on every day! Help us show this. We are setting up at 5:00 and begin at 5:30. We will be done by 7:00.

Our young people are off on their mission trip to the Harrisonburg area working in area ministries. This is the wind down to day one - evening devotions and some fun. Look forward to more.
