A long long long long time ago, a two year old little girl sat on her Daddy’s lap during mass at the old St Theresa’s church. That little girl kissed her father so many times, the priest stopped the mass and said, “I guess she loves her Daddy!” YES she did and ALWAYS will.
That little girl was me and that fabulous dad was Dad/Grampy/ Roger Perreault.
I was the luckiest little girl in the world.
Little did we all know, 8 years later, I would be invited to join the choir and play my flute.
Again! I was the luckiest little girl in the world.
God gave me a talent. It’s a talent I can’t take credit for. He gave me the love and ability of playing music. Somehow, the parishioners of St Theresa’s Parish have allowed me to share my God given talent with them for forty-five years. Yes, I said it…….45 YEARS. Ten years playing flute and thirty-five years playing organ.
Again! The luckiest girl in the world.
So, what am I trying to say?
Thank you. Every single one of you. Those who are still with us and those have gone to a better place. You are my parish family and will always be. I love each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. You have given me a chance to share my soul and my unending love of Christ with you through music. You have given me a kindness that I could never repay.
As we move in into our next adventures with Christ, “please take care of each other.” (A very wise man taught us all that.)
*Please stay in touch and never stop being a parish family.
*Please reach out to the children you meet and know that they hold Jesus in the hearts. Make them feel welcomed and loved and never forget they are children. They are still learning.
*And last but not least, Jesus loves you and so do I.
I truly am luckiest girl/middle aged crazy woman in the world.
j'irai vous voir un jour ❤️
