Our 2022 Back-to-School Bash will be on August 3 from 6:00-7:30 P.M in the MAC Building!

We will have food, games, inflatables, OMC (Organized Mass Chaos), and much more. Invite your friends and family! We will see you on August 3 for our Back-to-School Bash.

VBS may be over with but we still have activities for your children during the summertime!

This week our Pre-K to 1st Graders will meet in the Pre-K Sunday School Room and our 2nd to 5th Graders will meet in the 2nd/3rd Grade Sunday School Room. We also have childcare for babies and toddlers.

You are encouraged to bring your child while you attend the Pastor's Bible Study in the Welcome Center. See you tomorrow night!

Remember: the kids will be singing a few of their VBS songs to kick-off our morning worship service tomorrow! Make sure that they come to church in their VBS shirt. Sunday School starts at 9:45 and the kids will make their way to the sanctuary to rehearse at 10:30; the service starts at 11.

Also, if you helped out in VBS, and received a shirt, you are encouraged to wear your shirt tomorrow as well! We’ll see you in the morning!

Every year during VBS we pick a worthy cause to donate money to and make a contest out of it for the kids. And, in order to give them more incentive, the pastors usually sacrifice some of their dignity in order to make things more “interesting.” This year we selected the Southeast Georgia Women’s Center and we decided that if the boys won then the pastor’s wives would get slimed, but if the girls won then the pastors would get slimed. Well, between the boys and girls, we raised over $1200 for the Southeast Georgia Women’s Center and the girls ended up winning the contest!

Since the girls won tonight, Pastor Justin, Pastor Bear, and Pastor Eric ended up on the wrong end of a slime bucket!

VBS 2022 is in the books! Thank you so much for allowing us the honor of spending the last 5 days with your children. We pray that they made new friends, created new memories, and learned that God created each of us uniquely to accomplish great things for Him.

The girls won the offering contest so Pastor Justin, Pastor Bear, and Pastor Eric were slimed.

But, the biggest stat of all, is that we had 4 kids accept Christ as their Lord and Savior, and 3 more kids state that they would like to be baptized! That is what makes VBS so crucial to the life of our church and the lives of children in the community! Thank you, FBC family, for your participation, your encouragement, your donations, and, most importantly, your prayers. We are honored to be able to go to church with people such as yourselves.

Let’s do it again….in a year! We’ll see you in 2023!

This is it: Day 5 of VBS! We pray that your children have enjoyed themselves this week: that they have made new friends, created new memories, and, most importantly, learned that God has created them uniquely to accomplish great things for Him!

Thank you for allowing us the privilege to be a part of your child's spiritual development this week: we can't wait to do it again next year!
