But we believe there's another way to be the church together.

A place with room for different voices, different ideas, questions, disagreements, and a whole lot of grace.

That's what we're talking about for the next four weeks in Better Together.

John Wesley believed that faith always moves beyond ourselves.

Following Jesus changes our hearts—but it also changes how we treat our neighbors, how we pursue justice, and how we care for the world around us.

The Spirit never transforms us simply for our own sake.

Paul says that all creation is groaning, waiting for the day when God makes all things new.

That's a reminder that God cares about more than our souls.

It's hard, though, when we look around the world and see scary sometimes horrible things happening around us. We often talk about hope...but what do we do when hope is hard to have? Well..we have to remember...

Hope isn't pretending nothing is wrong.

Hope is trusting that God isn't finished yet.

Sin never stays small.

Fear becomes division.
Greed becomes exploitation.
Bitterness becomes broken relationships.

The choices we make ripple outward—but so do acts of grace, forgiveness, and compassion.

The good news of the gospel is that God's redemption reaches just as far as sin's damage.
