Jesus answered, “You do NOT know Now what I am doing, but later you WILL understand" (John 13:7)

Wilderness wanderings, Dry deserts,Times of testing,Raging storms,Thorns in flesh, Gardens of Gethsemane; Rough,heavy crosses are part of the Christian journey. Jesus is not merely the God Of the storm, but Beloved, Jesus IS God IN the storm.

I do NOT care how many emotion-filled,ear-tingling, feel-good, 24-hour turnaround messages you May have heard; the Bible testifies to the TRUTH of The process. Beloved, Please stop gazing into someone else's miracle with envious eyes. Trust me, I Guarantee you do NOT know the PRICE of their blessings. One day it WILL be YOUR Appointed time. In the meanwhile, sincerely rejoice with those who are rejoicing and give our Savior praise for someone else's Promise Land. In the process of celebrating with someone else, it may well be that you will receive the strength You Need to propel You into YOUR own Promise Land.

We will be studying Isaiah Ch. 53 in recognition and observance of Ash Wednesday which begins 2/7/18. We will study 1Corinthians Chs. 3 and 4 next Wednesday for Bible study 2/14/18

"Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea and all that night the Lord drove back the sea with a strong east wind and changed the sea into dry land;the waters were divided" (Exodus 14:21)

Moses STRETCHED without hesitation. He OBEYED God's command. He didn't ponder God's word. He didn't consult his friends. He didn't convene a meeting. He DID NOT listen to the doubting,mumbling people behind him. Moses ACTED according to God's instruction. Moses BOLDLY extended his hand across a vast sea,trusting that the same God who delivered his people from bo***ge ,would divide a sea. Beloved ,place your trust in Jesus,the one who loves you with an everlasting love. STRETCH OUT your hand in faith,with BLESSED ASSURANCE. Jesus STILL parts seas.

As I think about who WE are as a body of believers, it is a blessing to say we are different. We enter into worship just as we are: imperfect, willing vessels, ready to serve; broken, but chosen; JUST AS WE ARE. I am so proud of each of you. It is my joy and my honor to serve as your pastor. WE will walk through OUR open door together; supporting and loving one another. I AM your battle buddy. You will NOT enter into any battle alone. Not this year. Not this season.
