On Sunday, we may have had some folks tired after the late game on Saturday, but you wouldn’t have been able to tell! It was another great morning to worship as we sang and studied John 1:9-13 together. In that passage, we are reminded that Jesus is the light that makes reality visible to us, graciously drawing us into his family when we believe on his name.

𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏: This past Sunday was such a blast at Northstar as we welcomed new guests and visited with familiar faces. In our service, we saw how the Gospel of John introduces us to John the Baptist in John 1:6-8. From John’s example, we were challenged to bear witness to Jesus as our singular focus in life, making much of Jesus wherever we go.

𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣: We began our study of the Gospel of John, reminding us that whether we are beginning a new season of life, facing uncertainty, or simply longing for more of Jesus, He is with us through it all.

As we journey through John, we’ll see how Jesus reveals the fullness of who God is, brings life and light into the darkness, and invites us to walk with Him into whatever comes next.

Yesterday, we considered the responsibility we have as stewards over all we possess. Everything we have has been entrusted to us by God, and we are called to faithfully manage it for His glory.

𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣: This Sunday, we began our new sermon series, Mine, with a reminder that as followers of Christ, we are not owners, but stewards of all that God has entrusted to us. We also had the privilege of praying for and sending off faithful Northstar member Rebecca Lansford as she heads to Brazil on mission.

It was a beautiful Sunday together! Come worship with us next week at our 9 or 11 AM services!
