Join us this morning at 11am! Gary McCoy will preach the message, “The Beauty Steals Inward” from John 3: 1–17.
In this passage, Jesus meets Nicodemus in the night and reveals that we must be born again. As Nicodemus tries to understand, Jesus points him beyond outward appearances and accomplishments to the work God desires to do within the heart.
True beauty is not found in what others see on the outside, but in the inward renewal that comes through a relationship with Christ. God's love reaches deep into our hearts, changing us from the inside out.
Come worship with us as we celebrate the love of God. We can't wait to see you at 11am!

Sorry we missed you yesterday!! We were too busy working and having fun 🤗

Gary, Mitch, Eric, Stephen, and Bryce hung back to finish up the shed and plant some vegetables in the flower beds the girls built.

Sullivan, Ali, Annie, Emma, Sophie, Meredith and Kerby went to Mountain Home Thrift Store to help clean and sort. Black Mountain Home is a ministry that serves youth from birth through college graduation through family foster care, residential care, transitional living, and independent living. Proceeds from the store go to support that ministry.

Hunter, Kasey, Josh, Jordan, Janice stayed at Christmount to work on some bridges and then headed to Bounty and Soul to help box up food to be handed out to the community members in need.

We also celebrated our favorite pal Mitch all day long!

Day 3 has been incredible!!! We spent the first half of the day building a home for a family in need. We prayed over the home, wrote scripture on the boards, and worked hard to complete the walls of this home.

Afterwards, we had some fun!! Some went shopping, some went sliding down a rock, and others played some putt putt 🥳

Eric, Stephen, Gary and Mitch helped out at a local food bank!

We ended the night having dinner and ice cream 🍦

Day 2 was busy, busy and so wonderful ☺️🙌🏼

Emma, Sullivan, Annie, Meredith, Ali, Bryce, Annie, Josh spent the day building raised flower beds for Christmount, so they can grow their own produce 🌻

Gary, Mitch, Annie, and Bryce worked on building a shed for Christmount. 🔨🪚

Eric & Stephen helped with Habitat for Humanity projects - mostly drywall!

Janice, Hunter, Kasey, Jordan went to a local trailer park to work on some repairs of a home for families there.

Nick went with a group to dig a retaining wall at a home and finished their back deck. He also fixed the door. 👍🏼

We ended our night by leading a beautiful worship service around the campfire. So proud of our youth! What a privilege to know them and grow with them. 💗🔥

A great first day in Black Mountain!! We went in several different groups to serve.

Emma, Sullivan, Sophie, Ali, Janice, Hunter, Josh, Kasey, Kerby, Meredith, Janice, Annie started off the day cleaning up a creek that had debris from the Hurricane and then we went to help a local organization build a fence, pull some weeds, and sort food to be given out.

Eric, Bryce & Stephen framed a new deck for a family in need.

Gary & Mitch worked on a home!!

Nick went with a crew to put in drywall and fixed a deck for a new home for a family who lost their home.

Afterwards, we worshipped and are playing games with some pals now 🙂

What a wonderful day! We traveled down to Black Mountain, NC after church this afternoon. After arriving, we ate some supper, spent time learning about the week, snuck in some hackey sack and worshipped together! Getting settled now to be ready to go out and serve tomorrow!!
