Join us this morning at 11am! Pastor J.B. will be preaching the message “Jesus Doesn't Look at Resumes” from Matthew 9: 9-13.
In this passage, Jesus calls Matthew, a tax collector, to follow Him. Matthew’s past and reputation didn’t disqualify him because Jesus saw his heart and potential. This reminds us that God doesn’t judge by titles, accomplishments, or mistakes; He looks at our willingness to follow Him.
No matter your past, your story, or what others may think, Jesus invites you to step into His purpose. He values heart over credentials and love over perfection.
Come worship with us as we celebrate a God who sees beyond the surface and calls each of us by name. We can’t wait to see you at 11am!

Join us this morning at 11am! Pastor J.B. will preach the message “Don't Muddy the Water” from Matthew 28: 16-20.
In this passage, Jesus calls His disciples to make disciples of all nations. He reminds us to teach, baptize, and guide others while staying true to His message.
God calls us to be clear in our faith, letting love and truth permeate everything we do. When we don’t “muddy the water,” we make it easier for others to see Christ clearly.

Last week, 11 folks from BCC traveled to the Wilderness Road Museum in Newbern, VA. We learned about frontier life and how Southwest Virginia was developed when our country was first forming. After a fascinating tour, we had a delicious lunch at Patty's kitchen in Dublin.
Thank you to everyone who came on the trip! We had so much fun!

Join us tonight at 6pm for Brown Bag Bible Study! We’re concluding our study, "What on Earth Am I Here For?" by Rick Warren.
This week, our focus is “Evangelism - You Were Made for a Mission.”
God created each of us with a purpose. We are called to live out our faith and be a light in the world around us. As we finish this study together, we’ll reflect on the mission God has given each of us to make an eternal impact.
This is the final session in our study before we take a break for the summer, and we’d love for you to join us! Bring your dinner! We’d love to have you with us!

Join us this morning at 11am! Pastor J.B. will be preaching the message “Unity Without Uniformity” from Acts 2: 1-21.
In this passage, we see the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and the beginning of the Church. Though people from many nations and backgrounds were gathered together, God united them all. This reminds us that unity in Christ does not mean we are all the same. God works through different people and experiences.
No matter our background, we are called to come together as one body, empowered by the Spirit. To keep our individuality and uniqueness while still being part of the body.

This week, our focus is “Ministry - You Were Shaped for Serving God.”
God has uniquely gifted each of us with passions and experiences that can be used to serve others. We were not only created to receive God’s love, but also to share it through serving.

Yesterday, we recognized the members of our church family who are graduating! Congratulations to Jossi Bailey, Chelesa Barkley, Christy Hopler, Aaliyah Jones, Mitchel Lowe, Nick Mills, and Bennett Shealor! We also congratulate Amy Ruppert, Meredith Shealor, and Pam Wilson on a "graduation" of sorts; they are retiring as school teachers.

After worship, we celebrated their accomplishments with a taco meal and fellowship as a church. We wish all these folks many blessings as they step into this next phase of life.

Also yesterday evening, middle and high schoolers went on a hike at Bald K**b to celebrate the end of their school year! The view of the sunset was amazing and we had so much fun!
