Today’s Sermon Points!!!

Earlier today, we had a message from our brother Michael Ojo, and he challenged us with the thought-provoking topic:

“How Do You Utilize God’s Blessings on You?”

Drawing from the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14–30, we were reminded that God does not bless us merely for comfort, status, or accumulation, He blesses us so that we may glorify Him, serve others, grow His kingdom, and faithfully multiply what He has placed in our hands.

The message emphasized that Heaven does not measure by comparison, but by faithfulness.

Some are given much, others little, but the true question is: What are we doing with what God has already given us?

We were reminded that blessings are not trophies to admire, they are seeds meant to be planted and used.

God gives us time, knowledge, relationships, opportunities, spiritual gifts, health, influence, and resources, and He expects growth from them.

Using the story of Joseph, we saw how God can use one surrendered life to preserve many others. Joseph did not use his wisdom for self-glory, but for service, leadership, and the saving of lives during crisis.

A powerful truth echoed through the message:

“God is not only interested in what He gave you. He is interested in what you did with what He gave you.”

We were also warned that fear, insecurity, laziness, and comfort can quietly bury blessings before they ever become fruitful. Many people are not destroying their gifts, they are simply leaving them unused.

Scripture reminds us:

“To whom much is given, much will be required.” — Luke 12:48

May we never neglect what God has already placed within our reach. The miracle often begins with faithful stewardship of what we already have.

TODAY’s SERMON HIGHLIGHT!!!

This morning, our very young brother, Mason Allen, delivered a thoughtful and spiritually uplifting message reminding us that our faith is not meant to exist only on Sundays, it is revealed in how we live every single day between them.

He emphasized that doing the right thing when no one is watching can sometimes feel difficult or unnoticed, yet those quiet moments of obedience are deeply meaningful before God.

Character is not built in one grand moment, but through many small choices made consistently over time.

Scripture reminds us:

“Whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much.” — Luke 16:10

Mason beautifully compared the Christian walk to a farmer planting seeds. A farmer does not sow seed today and expect a harvest tomorrow.

Growth takes patience, consistency, nurturing, and time. The seed must be watered and cared for before it can grow into something fruitful.

In the same way, every act of obedience, every prayer, every moment of kindness, every decision to resist temptation, and every effort to honor God is like planting a spiritual seed within our hearts.

Paul reminds us:

“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

The small things matter. They shape our habits, strengthen our faith, and slowly form the character of Christ within us. What seems insignificant today may become a testimony tomorrow.

Faith is not sustained by occasional moments, it is cultivated daily.

May we continue planting seeds of righteousness, trusting that God is working even when growth is not immediately visible. Amen 🙏🏼

Today’s Sermon Highlight!!!

Earlier today, we were blessed by another powerful message from our campus minister, Dean Meadows, titled:

“Be in Babylon, Don’t Become Babylon.”

Drawing from the life of Daniel, we were reminded that as Christians, we are called to live in the world without allowing the world to reshape our hearts.

Babylon in Scripture represented pressure, compromise, temptation, and a culture opposed to God, yet Daniel remained faithful even while surrounded by it.

“But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself…” — Daniel 1:8

The message challenged us deeply: it is possible to live among a culture that opposes God while still standing firm in righteousness. Faithfulness becomes most visible when compromise becomes easiest.

Dean recalled us that when culture strongly pushes against what we believe, we often face two choices:

1. We can understand the culture, live within it, and seek to impact it for Christ without compromising our convictions.

Or

2. We can completely withdraw and isolate ourselves from the world.

But Jesus Himself prayed not for our removal from the world, but for our faithfulness within it:

“They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world… I do not ask that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one.” — John 17:14–15

Like Daniel, we are called to stand with wisdom, courage, and conviction. Not blending in. Not bowing down. Not becoming Babylon.

The world may normalize compromise, but Scripture calls us higher:

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2

This was a reflective sermon, it was a reminder that our faith must remain intentional even when standing for God becomes uncomfortable.

May we be people who shine in dark places, love without compromise, and remain faithful wherever God places us. Amen 🙏🏼

TODAY’S SERMON HIGHLIGHT.

This morning, our campus minister; Dean Meadows delivered a powerful message titled:

“Daniel 3: The Furnace — Exposes Our Faith.”

We were edified that faith in God is not proven in comfort, but in pressure. There is no room for negotiation when it comes to belonging to God, even when obedience becomes inconvenient or costly.

In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood firm when commanded to bow before the golden image. Their response echoes through generations:

“Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us… But if not, we will not serve your gods.” — Daniel 3:17–18

They did not base their faith on outcomes. They stood on conviction.

And when the fire was heated beyond measure, God did not abandon them, He met them in the furnace.

“Did we not cast three men bound into the fire?… I see four men… and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” — Daniel 3:24–25

The fire did not destroy them, it revealed them. It exposed a faith that could not be shaken.

We were challenged with a question that lingers:
It is easy to say we follow God when life is calm… but can we still stand when it gets hot?

Scripture reminds us:
“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial… as though something strange were happening to you.” — 1 Peter 4:12

True faith is not conditional. It does not bend under pressure. It stands, even when the outcome is uncertain.

May we be a people who do not compromise, who do not bow to the pressures of the world, but who stand firm and trusting that whether God delivers us from the fire or through the fire, He will always be with us. Amen 🙏🏼

This morning, we came together for a special lunch following our worship service in celebration of the 2026 Alumni Weekend.

It was truly a beautiful moment filled with warm fellowship, heart to heart conversations, and a refreshing sense of spiritual connection.

Friends, both old and new, gathered around the table, sharing stories, laughter, and encouragement, reminding us of the bond we share in Christ.

It wasn’t just a meal; it was a time of renewal, unity, and gratitude for the journey we’ve all been a part of.
