We all have scars.
The temptation is to cover our wounds, hide our blemishes, and pretend we have it all together. Yet Philippians 2 points us to Jesus—the One who did not cling to His position, but humbled Himself, taking on human flesh and ultimately bearing the scars of the cross for our salvation.
Jesus didn’t hide His wounds. After His resurrection, His scars became evidence of His love, sacrifice, and victory. In the same way, God can use our wounds, blemishes, and scars to display His grace and faithfulness.
Philippians 2 reminds us that true humility isn’t pretending we’re perfect—it’s trusting God enough to be honest about our need for Him. When we surrender our brokenness to Christ, He transforms it into a testimony that encourages others and brings glory to Him.
What the enemy intended for harm, God can redeem for good. Your scars are not the end of your story—they are evidence that God is still writing it.
