Just received word that Miss Norma Henson and Halley were involved in a car accident today. Halley was taken to a hospital around St. Louis. Miss Norma was transported to Farmington ER. After some initial testing on her, the decision was made to send her to a hospital in St. Louis. However, I spoke to her and Sheila a few minutes ago, so Miss Norma is very coherent. As well, Halley has been asking about Norma, so that’s a good sign. More to come as I am made aware.

FOOD WILL BE AVAILABLE MONDAY MORNING!

Due to the recent flooding, we are holding an Emergency Mobile Food Distribution to help families in our community who may be struggling right now.

⚠️ THIS IS NOT OUR NORMAL MONTHLY FOOD PANTRY.
We are still working hard to get our regular monthly pantry established. This is a mobile food truck distribution to provide help right now.

🚗 PLEASE STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE.
Traffic control volunteers will be outside to direct you through the line. Please follow their instructions.

📦 VOLUNTEERS WILL LOAD FOOD BOXES DIRECTLY INTO YOUR VEHICLE.

Please be patient, follow directions, and give our volunteers grace as we work to serve as many families as possible.

❤️ Our community has been through a lot. Now is the time to stand together and help one another.

There will not be a food pantry distribution at Black River Baptist Church for the month of August, 2026 due to flood damage that occurred on July 10th, 2026. Stay tuned for additional announcements regarding future distribution events.
