We are in need of:

1 for Friday 4:45-11:45pm
2 for Saturday 4:45-11:45pm
1 for Sunday 4:45-11:45pm

Hi friends! Anyone interested in volunteering at the shelter over the holidays? I’m needing at least 2 volunteers from 4:45-11:45pm on Dec 19, 24 & 29. Help is needed with setting up, serving food, cleaning up after dinner & making bagged lunches for our guests for the following day.

***UPDATE! I would like to thank everyone who donated on behalf of getting a new washing machine for the shelter.
We raised a total of $475.00.
As God would have it, We found a nice 4.2 capacity high energy washer from Lowes.
This unit was normally priced at $599.00 but was on sale for 449.00.
Along with a discount that was received, we were able to purchase this unit for a total of $450.00.
This includes taxes, delivery and pick up of the old machine.

Due to delivery backlog because of the snow, It will be This Saturday morning Dec 16 before they can have it delivered to us.
I hope everyone is as exited as I am and look forward to having this new machine.

We are currently looking for a new washing machine for the shelter. If you’d like to make a donation towards a washer please take your donations to SVCM and tell them it is specifically for the SVCM Emergency Shelter washing machine.
