This past Sunday was another meaningful day for us as a church. We began a new sermon series on the letters to the seven churches in Revelation. As we finish out our Year of Salt & Light, Pastor Michael will be walking us through these letters this summer to help us examine ourselves as a church. Are we collectively living as salt and light of the world?

The first letter reminded us not to neglect our first love. Amidst of all the good things we do as a church, we must continue to come back to our first love, our relationship with Jesus.

When there is always more work to be done, how do we know when we’ve completed what the Lord has for us today? When we spend time with Jesus at the beginning of the day, and walk in tune with the Holy Spirit, He helps us discern between the important and the urgent.

We’re excited to celebrate our moms this weekend, but also recognize this weekend can bring up difficult feelings for many.

Those with babies in heaven, those struggling to get pregnant, those who have lost sons or daughters, those with mothers no longer with us, those with a prodigal child or a relationship in need of repair. This weekend we mourn with you.

Scripture tells us we have a Heavenly Father who is with us in our pain. Today we pray that you experience his nearness and love for you.

Sunday was an exciting day in the life of our church! Pastor Michael shared about the heart of a true shepherd and pastor, we had the privilege of installing two new elders, and we announced the launch of a new church plant!

We are so excited about how God is at work during this season, and we can’t wait to see what’s to come!
