We are so grateful for what God is doing at Verdant Church! And we’re grateful for a kingdom-minded pastor who is willing to send others out!

A Tulsa pastor was recently approached by a leader in his church who wanted to plant a church just down the road.

💬 “Would it be okay if I took 100 people to help start the new church?”

The pastor’s response surprised him ⬇️

💬 “I’d rather you take 200. You’ll start strong, and we need the seating for new people here.”

💡That’s what kingdom-minded sending looks like.

✳️ SENDING is believing the gospel is bigger than our attendance charts, budgets, comfort, or ego.

✳️ Too often, churches see sending as losing. The New Testament sees sending as winning.

✳️ Healthy churches don’t just gather people—they send them.

This is how we’re feeling after day 1 of VBS! Things are off to a great start. We can’t wait to see how God uses this week in the lives of our kids!

Continue growing with us this summer at our Wednesday night Bible studies! We are offering 2 studies for the summer: our pastor’s Bible study led by various Evergreen pastors and staff, and our women’s Bible study led by various women in the church. Join us Wednesdays at 6:30pm.
