This world has a lot to offer but all are fleeting and will pass away! Set not your thoughts on those things but on Christ and the hope of His calling and His Glory which are eternal!!

7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

If you read these scriptures, it sounds as though the author(Paul I believe) is struggling with his salvation! He said in another scripture the "we should work out our own salvation daily with fear and trembling!! Please continue to seek the perfection of your walk with Christ in these dark and perilous times!! The same Spirit which raised Christ from the dead, dwells in you and shall quicken or raise your mortal body!! So friends, we have the tools to walk in righteuosness but not of ourselves but of Christ in us, our Hope of Glory!!
Philippians 3
6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Read Verse 10 and let this be our prayer for today and until His soon coming!! We love you all and may God Bless you richly!!

I our darkest moments, He is El Shadai!!
From Brother Larry today

Psalm 63:3 Your loving kindness is better than life. Today is the day to begin proclaiming the Good News in your home, in your workplace, in your community. Why? Because OUR GOD REIGNS! HE is the GOD of the good days, and the GOD of the bad days. HE sees the tears on your pillow at night and hears your heart when you cry out to HIM. When you feel lost And alone, HE is EL Shaddai, the GOD who sustains and blesses us even though we don't deserve the rich blessings of the Kingdom. HE is all-knowing and all-powerful. JESUS is alive and sitting at the right hand of GOD the FATHER, just waiting to overflow your home with HIS loving kindness. Today, the peace that surpasses all understanding can be yours. Whatever is concerning you, leave it at the Cross! Claim your blessing ! Seize your victory. Move on to a bright tomorrow with nothing holding you back. Those around you might live in lack, but you will live in the palace of the KING. Your needs will be met, and whatsoever you ask shall be done in JESUS ' name . You are blessed and highly favored! Gadol Elohai !!! Gadol Adonai !!!! AM Yisrael Chai !! Ein Od Milvado !!!

Here is God's Word of Wisdom!!
Proverbs 3New King James Version (NKJV)

Guidance for the Young
3 My son, do not forget my law,
But let your heart keep my commands;
2 For length of days and long life
And peace they will add to you.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
4 And so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct[a] your paths.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
8 It will be health to your flesh,[b]
And strength[c] to your bones.
9 Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
10 So your barns will be filled with plenty,
And your vats will overflow with new wine.
11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
Nor detest His correction;
12 For whom the Lord loves He corrects,
Just as a father the son in whom he delights.
13 Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
And the man who gains understanding;
14 For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver,
And her gain than fine gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies,
And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand,
In her left hand riches and honor.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
And all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her,
And happy are all who retain her.
19 The Lord by wisdom founded the earth;
By understanding He established the heavens;
20 By His knowledge the depths were broken up,
And clouds drop down the dew.
21 My son, let them not depart from your eyes—
Keep sound wisdom and discretion;
22 So they will be life to your soul
And grace to your neck.
23 Then you will walk safely in your way,
And your foot will not stumble.
24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.
25 Do not be afraid of sudden terror,
Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;
26 For the Lord will be your confidence,
And will keep your foot from being caught.
27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
When it is in the power of your hand to do so.
28 Do not say to your neighbor,
“Go, and come back,
And tomorrow I will give it,”
When you have it with you.
29 Do not devise evil against your neighbor,
For he dwells by you for safety’s sake.
30 Do not strive with a man without cause,
If he has done you no harm.
31 Do not envy the oppressor,
And choose none of his ways;
32 For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord,
But His secret counsel is with the upright.
33 The curse of the Lord is on the house of the wicked,
But He blesses the home of the just.
34 Surely He scorns the scornful,
But gives grace to the humble.
35 The wise shall inherit glory,
But shame shall be the legacy of fools.

History of Hymns: "It Is Well with My Soul"
by C. Michael Hawn
"It Is Well with My Soul"
Horatio G. Spafford
The UM Hymnal, No. 377
Horatio Spafford
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul.
With this hymn comes one of the most heartrending stories in the annals of hymnody.
The author, Horatio G. Spafford (1828-1888), was a Presbyterian layman from Chicago. He had established a
very successful legal practice as a young businessman and was also a devout Christian. Among his close friends
were several evangelists including the famous Dwight L. Moody, also from Chicago.
Spafford’s fortune evaporated in the wake of the great Chicago Fire of 1871. Having invested heavily in real
estate along Lake Michigan’s shoreline, he lost everything overnight. In a saga reminiscent of Job, his son died
a short time before his financial disaster. But the worst was yet to come.
Hymnologist Kenneth Osbeck tells the story: “Desiring a rest for his wife and four daughters as well as wishing
to join and assist Moody and [his musician Ira] Sankey in one of their campaigns in Great Britain, Spafford
planned a European trip for his family in 1873. In November of that year, due to unexpected last-minute
business developments, he had to remain in Chicago, but sent his wife and four daughters on ahead as scheduled
on the S.S. Ville du Havre. He expected to follow in a few days.

“On November 22 the ship was struck by the Lochearn, an English vessel, and sank in twelve minutes. Several
days later the survivors were finally landed at Cardiff, Wales, and Mrs. Spafford cabled her husband, ‘Saved
alone.’”
Spafford left immediately to join his wife. This hymn is said to have been penned as he approached the area of
the ocean thought to be where the ship carrying his daughters had sunk.
Another daughter, Bertha, was born in 1878 as well as a son, Horatio, in 1880, though he later died of scarlet
fever. After the birth of daughter Grace in 1881, Spafford and his wife moved to Jerusalem out of a deep interest
in the Holy Land. There they established the American Colony, a Christian utopian society engaged in
philanthropic activities among Jews, Muslims and Christians.
After decades of benevolent activities, the Colony ceased to be a communal society in the 1950s, though it
continued in a second life as the American Colony Hotel, the first home of the talks between Palestine and Israel
that eventually led to the 1983 Oslo Peace Accords.

I wrote this 3 years ago while going through one of the most difficult periods of my life. Since that time through prayer and seeking God, He has restored so much that the enemy had stolen. Our God is no respector of persons and I know if he can heal, restore and set me free, He can and will do it for you. God is so good to us!! His Mercy endures forever and is new every morning!!! Thank You Jesus!!!!

On this day of days, when we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, let us remember the reason for his death, burial, and his resurrection. Acts 2:24 But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. Death could not contain him, could not keep him in the grave. Romans 8:11 says, But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. The Resurrcetion Power of God which raised Christ, can raise all which are dead. Just as Christ called Lazerus from the grave, he is also calling is to rise up to new life in him. All who are dead in sin, and bound by the attacks of Satan, whether they be spiritual or natural, can be healed and restored by the Resurrection Power of God. Whether you are bound by drugs, alcohol, sickness, unforgiveness for wrongs done to you in the past, God can and will restore you by his spirit. No matter where you have been, what you have done, Christ died for you. Restoration by Resurrection. Amen

The Israelites complained, and then Moses complained. God responded positively to Moses and negatively to the rest of the people. Why? The people complained "to one another", and NOTHING was accomplished. Moses took his complaint to God, who could solve ANY problem. Many of us are good at complaining to each other. Have we not learned to take our problems to the One who can do something about them? Dissatisfaction come when our attention shifts from what we have to what we don't have. Are we like the Israelites, have we not noticed what God was and is doing - setting them free, making them a nation, giving them a new land? Have we become wrapped up in "what God isn't doing? The Israelites could think of nothing but the delicious Egyptian food they had left behind. But somehow they had forgotten that the brutal whip of slavery was the cost of eating that food. What occupies our attention most of the time? What God has given us? Or, What we would like to have? We must never allow our unfulfilled desires to cause us to forget God's precious gifts of life, food, health, work, family, and friends. What are we demanding from God today? Like the Israelites, have we stopped trusting God to take care of us? We read today in Numbers 11-12, when we ask God for something, he may grant our request. But if we approach him with a sinful attitude or wrong motives, getting what we want may prove costly. Completely depending on God is essential, regardless of our spiritual maturity. When we begin to lean on our own understanding, we are in danger of ignoring God's assessment of the situation...Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5...We must remember his past works and his present power, only then can we be sure that we are not cutting off his potential help...And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28...God doesn't change, but our view of Him often does. Has the monotony of day-to-day living lulled us into forgetting how powerful our God is? May it never be so! God's strength is always available! The same power that conquered the grave lives in us!...The Lord answered Moses, "Is the Lord's arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you. Numbers 11:23-24...
