This month, the Legacy church community is collecting diapers, pull-ups, and wipes for the MSA United Way. 👶

This local nonprofit's mission is to unite people and resources to activate volunteers, support and deliver programs and services, and fund solutions for a stronger community. Donations may be any size for babies and children.

Drop off donations at Legacy:

✅ On Sundays in worship
✅ During the week at the office (9 am – 3 pm Monday – Thursday)
✅ Skip the line and ship to the church

Tomorrow morning, we begin a new sermon series called "Vile-Tality." "Vile" is not something you usually associate with faith and the church, so what is going on here? 🤔

We're going to spend the next four weeks discussing ways in which we are called to be "vile". Join us tomorrow to find out what being "vile" means and why we all should be a little more "vile".

The first Legacy Kids Super Summer SONday is June 7 while parents are attending the 10:00 am service. The first Legacy Students Fire Nite is that same day (June 7) at 6:00 pm.

Legacy will have a normal 10:00 am worship service on Sunday, June 7 after hosting Annual Conference activities Thursday, June 4 - Saturday, June 6. The Annual Conference's last event - the Celebration of Life in Ministry and Adjournment/Reception - will take place at 10:00 am Sunday, June 7 at our sibling church McCabe UMC.

In ONE WEEK, Legacy and McCabe United Methodist Churches are co-hosting the Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church's Annual Conference! 🎉 We're looking forward to welcoming our fellow United Methodists from all around North and South Dakota to Bismarck.

CONGRATULATIONS Addie, Elliot, Nora, and Alaina! 🎉🎓 We are so proud of these graduates as they prepare to head out into the world. Thanks to all who joined us to celebrate them Sunday morning and left notes of encouragement on the tree.

Tomorrow morning, we'll be rounding out our "Old Testament Literature" sermon series with Jonah. Jonah is a fascinating book whose main character is known for running away from God because he knows that God is a forgiving God. What was the author trying to convey to their audience, and what does Jonah have to say to us today? Join us to find out!

Also, don't forget tomorrow is Senior Recognition Sunday! 🎓 Join us for breakfast 🍳 starting at 9:00 am (Shane will be cooking!), then stay for a special Graduation Sunday celebration during the single 10:00 am service featuring photos and recognition of our graduates.

Through our April Impact Offering, we raised $1,670 to support Legacy kids, students, and adults attending conference summer camps this year! ☀️🏕️

These funds will help ease the financial burden of tuition costs so more of our church attendees can experience the fellowship, growth, worship, and life-changing moments that happen at camp each summer.

As always, thank you for helping us be a Community of Impact! 🫶 Please continue praying for everyone who will be attending camp this season.

Ever wonder what 700+ hotdogs look like? 🌭🌭🌭😮

This was our kitchen earlier today. We had the joy of helping feed around 400 8th graders from Horizon Middle School next door. They had a field trip over their lunch and needed logistical help. They provided the hotdogs, and we warmed them up and brought them back to the school.

We love opportunities like this to be a Community of Impact: stepping outside our walls, serving our neighbors, and reminding our community that they are seen, valued, and loved. 🫶

Congrats on a successful school year in the books! 🎉 One more day until summer vacation!
