Only TWO more Sundays to donate to our August Mercy Box recipient!

This month, we’re collecting donations for the Bismarck Early Childhood Education Program (BECEP). BECEP serves children from birth through age 6 and partners with families to help every child reach his or her full potential.

Donations needed:

• 4T and 5T pants (gender-neutral colors, no jeans)

• Children's shoes (sizes 9, 10, 11, and 12)

• Individually packaged healthy snacks such as granola bars, Goldfish crackers, crackers, fruit cups, and pudding

• Breakfast items and dry cereal

Protect yourself against scammers!

Sadly, fall is often the time when scammers attack churches, and so we want to share some important information to safeguard our community.

Occasionally, they find a way to message church attenders claiming to be Pastor Matt, asking for some kind of money or gift cards for an important cause.

REMEMBER: Neither Pastor Matt nor any Surprise leader will ever message you to solicit money or gift cards or to request login access to your personal accounts.

If you receive a suspicious message from someone claiming to be a staff person or elder, please contact a member of our team or call the church phone number of 701-390-9804.

Let's all pray together:

Lord Jesus, we ask you to invade the hearts of those in our world who are so deceived that they wish to prey on others and attack churches. Just as you renovated the hearts of the swindling tax collectors in Jesus ministry, flood their souls with your power and presence so that they seek to protect and serve rather than lie and harm. Protect us and all of our sister churches from evil attempts to take advantage of peoples' kindness and generosity. In Jesus name, Amen!

When Surprise Church started The Mercy Box, our goal was simple, to share God's love by meeting needs in our community.

This month, we're collecting donations for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Bismarck, which provides a home away from home for families whose children are receiving life-saving medical treatment.

Items needed:
• Granola bars
• Individual chips or cracker packs
• Small fruit cups
• Microwave popcorn
• Individual juice boxes
• Other individually wrapped grab-and-go snacks

We would appreciate it if you would consider picking up a few donations. Your generosity helps provide comfort and encouragement to families during a difficult time.

Donations can be dropped off on Sundays at Surprise Church or at any Mercy Box donation location throughout the month.
