Thank yous & Sunday Information

Let me say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU (in my best Gomer Pyle Voice)

Thank you to all the volunteers from Friday and Saturday that gathered to get our campus spruced up. It was hot, the gnats were bad, but many hands made light work. Look at these wonderful pictures of the Campus!

NOW, tomorrow is going to be a wonderful day of Worship. We will finish our series through the book of Amos. We will be in Chapter 9 looking at “The Way God Speaks”. It’s bound to be a good time as we worship King Jesus.

THEN, tomorrow @ 5pm, join us for Teaching Time with our Pastor. This is a time where we meet in the Fellowship Hall and have a time of Bible Study. It’s casual. Bring your Bible, a notepad and a pen and let’s dive into God’s Word.

We’ll see you tomorrow @ 11am and 5pm. Come and Discover the Joy @ FBC Bishopville.

🌿 Friday Workday Around Campus! 🌿

A big THANK YOU to this hardworking crew who spent their Friday sprucing up our church campus! ❤️

There was no shortage of work to be done—trimming shrubs, raking and spreading pine straw, hauling limbs and debris, blowing off the grounds, and plenty of cleanup along the way. It took a lot of willing hands, a few tools, some muscle, and a good sense of humor to get it all done! 😄

We are so grateful for everyone who gave their time and energy to care for the place God has given us. Your hard work made a difference, and the campus is looking great!

🍽️ Happy Timers Lunch Outing! ❤️

Our Happy Timers enjoyed a wonderful time of food, fellowship, and plenty of smiles on Tuesday at Marcella’s at the Blair in Hartsville!😊

There’s nothing quite like gathering around the table with church family, sharing a good meal, catching up, and enjoying one another’s company. We’re thankful for this sweet group and the friendships and fellowship we share!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us. We’re already looking forward to our next Happy Timers adventure! ❤️

Join us tomorrow for an EXCITING day of worship @ FBC Bishopville.

Tomorrow in the 11am service we welcome Mr. Pat Saverance with the Gideons to share with us about how this group are being the hands and feet of Jesus and distributing copies of God’s Word. It is always a blessing to hear what this great organization is doing. We will receive a love offering for the Gideons. All money given goes to spread copies of God’s word all around the world.

THEN, tomorrow @ 5pm we will meet together for Teaching Time. Pastor Jed will continue our series in the Book of Amos. Join us for a wonderful evening of diving deep into Amos chapter 8.

Let’s Brag on Jesus.

It’s been a busy but very wonderful Sunday.

Today started out like any normal Sunday. We got to church, heard the choir warming up and rehearsing for Worship, talked to folks coming to Sunday School and then I went to spend some quiet time with God and get ready for the worship service.

…BUT GOD!!!!!!!!!!!

Then it happened: Folks begin to come in for worship and then NEW folks began to come in for worship and more NEW folks came to worship. What a great Sunday of worshipping King Jesus!

I count people because people count!! Today was not a special event Sunday, it was not a Holiday, it was not Mother’s Day or Father’s Day. These are days when people come to church that normally don’t attend. We set an attendance record today since I’ve been the pastor at FBC for a non-special event Sunday. Once again, I said that I count people because people count.

Each person young or old who joined us for worship today experienced God moving in our midst.

I want you to consider this your invitation to come and experience what God is doing @ FBC Bishopville. You will meet some of the most loving people that you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Perfect, absolutely not, including their Pastor, but people who care about others.

If you don’t have a church home, maybe you stopped going to church because all you ever saw church people do was feud, fuss, and fight- I get this. I would love for you to give FBC Bishopville a try. God is doing some new and fresh things here and I’m grateful that he is allowing me and our family to be a part of this.

We’re not fancy. We’re just folks who make it a point to fall in love with Jesus everyday!!! You’ll hear traditional music, a choir, and expositional preaching that you can apply to your daily walk with Jesus.

Sundays @ 11am for Worship
Wednesday Nights @ 6pm for Prayer Meeting and Bible Study.

What a wonderful evening of fellowship, food, and fun! ❤️🍤🦀

Our church family enjoyed a great dinner together at Oceanview Seafood in Cayce, SC. There was plenty of delicious seafood, lots of laughter, and—most importantly—wonderful time spent together.

We are so thankful for opportunities like this to step away from our busy schedules, enjoy one another’s company, and strengthen the bonds of fellowship within our church family. What a blessing it is to share meals, memories, and laughter with such a special group of people!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so much fun! We’re already looking forward to our next church outing! 😊❤️

As followers of Jesus we are called to share His love with everyone we come into contact with. Now, this is easy preaching, but tough living. Sometimes we encounter obstacles in sharing our faith.

Join us tomorrow @ 11am as we continue our series in Amos and we will look at a message entitled “You’ve got Mail”.

Join us for a wonderful time of worship and praise as we celebrate Jesus and all He has done for us.

Tonight we gathered for the Famous FBC Summer Ice Cream Social. What a night it was!

We had all kinds of ice cream, toppings, and more sweet treats than you could count. What a night sitting around enjoying community and fellowship. Just walking around and hearing new people get to know people that have been members of FBC for years blessed my heart. It was a wonderful Summer Sunday evening of ice cream and sweet fellowship. Come and see what God is doing @ FBC Bishopville.

It’s going to be an Amos and Ice cream kind of Sunday @ FBC Bishopville.

Join us tomorrow @ 11am as we worship King Jesus and dive into Amos chapter 7 as we look at the 3 visions God let Amos see. It’s bound to be a wonderful time of worship.

Bring a friend or five and come worship with us. The AC will be on and it will be nice and cool.

THEN, tomorrow at 5pm, is the famous FBC Ice cream social. Join us as we indulge in lots of sweet treats. We’ll have enough ice cream, toppings, brownies, cakes and cookies to send everyone’s glucose level through the roof. What a great way to get to know each other while enjoying ice cream on a hot summer Sunday.

Tomorrow will be a great day @ FBC. Won’t you join us?

Where is 2026 going? We are beginning the second week of August already. Wow, this year is flying by!

Join us tomorrow @ FBC Bishopville as we have a great day of worship. Our pastor is back from his surgery and will be continuing our series in the Book of Amos, “Finding HOPE in the Judgement of Amos”.
