St. Paul Lutheran Church St. Paul Lutheran Church in Birnamwood, Wisconsin, established in 1898, is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS).

Paul is not a community of perfect people. But we are a forgiven people - saints of God declared so for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ. And we'd be very happy to share the hope we've found in Him. We believe, teach and confess the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel (Good News) is that Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, died on the cross for the sins of the world, so that all people might be saved t

hrough Him. According to Scripture alone, through faith alone, we trust that God's "by grace alone" promise in Christ alone as the once-for-all answer to the problem of evil in ourselves and our world.

Join us at St. Paul Wittenberg (701 S Home St, Wittenberg WI) for a Christian Truth Event on Saturday, Sept. 26th, 9am-12noon: The Time Between the Testaments

We will study how the New Testament World grew out of the old. In particular, we will learn about where such movements came from like the Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes, Zealots, etc. We will find out how the Romans ended up ruling over the Promised Land.
We will learn about the 400 year history since the prophecy of Malachi and the birth of Jesus. We will also spend some time looking at the Apocrypha (the so-called Deuterocanonical Books), and at how we Lutherans view these godly (but non-Scriptural) books. You do not need to bring a copy of the Apocrypha, but will have an opportunity to buy Concordia Publishing House (CPH)'s edition if you wish.
