This Wednesday, September 9 | 6:30 PM
We’re continuing Spiritual Maturity: Cultivating the Fruit of the Spirit Bible Study series with Pastor A.

September 16 | 6:30 PM
Part III gets interactive with Dr. Pauletta Brown, while our teens have a session of their own with Pastor A.

September 23 | 6:30 PM
We’re closing out the month with Posture Check: A Night of Prayer & Intercession, realigning our hearts, minds, and focus with God’s mission and His will.

Sundays are powerful, but there’s something special about what happens when we make room to grow throughout the week.

God, Make Me Strong Part II | Pastor A | Sunday Worship

Welcome to The Purpose Church!

The church has done a great job of preaching us into victory. But it has failed miserably at preparing us to suffer. And suffering is not optional — even under grace, even when you’re doing everything right, even when you’re building exactly what God told you to build.

Pastor A continues in Nehemiah 6 and picks up where last week left off. Nehemiah built the wall with enemies on every side — and every time they couldn’t stop him, they found a new strategy. A meeting invitation. A rumor. A letter that looked like a warning but was really a trap. And every time, Nehemiah gave the same answer: I am doing important work. I cannot come down.

This week goes deeper — into what suffering actually produces, why some collaborations are really abortions, and what lives on the right side of “but I prayed.”

After everything He’s brought me through, how could I NOT praise Him?

For every mountain.
For every valley.
For every door He opened and even the ones He has closed.

We can praise God for the things we’re asking him to do.

But there’s a deeper kind of praise that comes from remembering what He’s already done.

So whether I’m on the mountain or walking through the valley… I will praise Him anyway!
