UPDATE: TCAS gathering is on for our meal, supplies, fellowship and prayer! Worship/teaching will be weather dependent. We always when we gather want to worship in song and get in the word together, but also want to balance being respectful and mindful of all who attend. Hope to see you there! Much love! Keith

WEATHER UPDATE: It’s looking as of now we will be dodging any ice/winter mix! It’s always been the plan to gather if it all possible and that’s looking more likely to happen as the days have passed. We will continue to monitor and of course update if things change, but as of now we hope to see everyone Sunday as we gather together! Much love, Keith

Winter Weather Warning…Hey TCAS fam! We’ve been so blessed in the 9+ years we’ve met outdoors to never miss a Sunday…rain, shine, snow, a pandemic and one time even remnants of a hurricane that blew through…we’ve gathered through it all! That’s definitely our plan this Sunday if at all possible! However, ice is a different animal in the south. We will monitor and update closer to time and pray it’s not an issue by Sunday and that travel conditions will be safe and that we can all gather together. Until then stay warm and check back here for updates and we will spread the word best we can closer to time.

It’s that time of year again! Christmas gifts for our friends has already been under way over the last month, this is some of today’s haul! If you would like to contribute in preaching the Gospel to many who this may be their only Christmas gift this season you can do so at churchatsouthside.com/give and select the Christmas Gifts fund. Along with a new useful gift of their choosing each attendee will also receive a new pair of shoes, underwear, socks, bras for the ladies, gloves & toboggan & hygiene/snack bag along with a new toy for each kid. Stolen iPad, worth the quick read…What is love? Baby don’t hurt me! (Sorry, had to do it!) Now that your head is bobbing like you’re at The Roxbury here’s the scoop…let us answer for real. Love is a lot of things, one major defining characteristic is “it keeps no records of wrongs.” This past Sunday we had an iPad stolen off our truck when it was parked on Greensprings along with some other items. Ironically our iPad pinged in the parking lot Sunday as we served that morning. We now know the full story, but in a crazy turn of events we now know the individual who stole the iPad (we know who they are) showed up to our gathering with it in their backpack, was served food, greeted with love as all are who show up, stayed for our service, was given supplies and left to sell our iPad even after hearing an announcement of it missing. It’s been turned off and is a paperweight at this point, we even know its current location. Serial number is reported stolen and cant be currently used or sold again legally. Stolen from a people who freely give all we possibly can. What is love? If they show up this week they’ll be greeted with a hug, handshake and/or a smile. Served with love, offered truth and forgiven. Do we have questions? Sure! Obviously there are physical, emotional and even spiritual needs that are not being met. Just know if you’re the person who stole from us and are reading this, you are loved, seen and forgiven. Come on back and let us show you that. And that is what love is all about.

THIS Sunday marks our NINE year anniversary of leaving our church building and taking to life on the trail! Praise God that through rain, shine, snow, hurricane remnants and a pandemic…we’ve never had to miss a Sunday! Thank you for being a part of it. If you were with us in the beginning of planting TCAS, have ever given items, given financially, let us use a parking lot, prayed for us, helped unload a food bank order, scooped a serving of food to someone, are a part of things weekly or have moved on to another season of your life and calling…(or any and every thing in between) Thank you! Thanks for being a part of His amazing story out here! We’ve seen so many lives changed forever and to God be the glory for that! But this would not have been possible without people like you. So thank you! Well done! If you’re not busy, come visit with us Sunday as we celebrate all God has done and thank Him for what He is going to do moving forward! Much love, Keith

Tomorrow we will gather in our old parking lot across from Norton’s. They’ll be open for Mother’s Day and we want to respect that and give them space to park and operate.
