SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON 6/7/2026, DEBORAH THE DUTIFUL JUDGE, Judges 4.

By the time of our text today, all those who had led the people out of the bo***ge of Egypt had died. People were starting to follow false gods and they were simply doing whatever they wanted to do. God then raised up new leaders. Deborah was the fourth Judge that God called to lead the people. She was wise, strong, caring, and devoted to God’s will. She questioned Barak concerning what God had told him to do (to lead men to conquer and seize the enemy). Barak was willing to go but only if Deborah went with him. So they went as commanded but it was a woman that seized the enemy not the army of men just as Deborah had told him. God hears our cries for help and He will deliver us, but we have to trust Him and be obedient. We cannot put conditions on His will, just go!!!
Be faithful to what God has told you with what He has given you.

SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON 5/31/2026, LIVING IN CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY, Matthew 28:18-20; Hebrews 10:22-25.

There’s something about Church! I mean, not just the building but everyone that enters and every experience we share. I’ve never been able to just walk in, sit a spell, and then leave without sharing moments of joy, love, and laughter. The common bond is Jesus Christ! Jesus said He would always be with us and our mission is to walk in faith. We are also reminded to come together as often as possible to strengthen one another. Time together in worship and praise increases our hope and rejuvenates our spirit in love and service.
