This situation this morning has made me think a little about life. I brought my car in simply to have it serviced, only to find out that it needed a lot more.

1. Timing Belt
2. Transmission Flush
3. A new driving assist camera
4. At least 2-new tires.

Here is what got me. The 2 tires from the outside looked good. They looked like they still had a lot of life, but once they took the tires off and looked at the inner tread, we discovered that we had a very serious issue. The tires were so worn on the inside, that they had begun to separate from the sidewall.

Thats when I thought about life, many of us are like my tires, from the outside we look good. We are shining and clean, we smell good and are immaculately dressed, but when we take the time to look inward, we find that there are serious issuses. We too have been so worn out, that we are separated. The separation in my tires was not good, my wife or I could have had a blow out with 1 or all of our kids in the car. The separation in our lives could cause us to have a blow out Spiritually and emotionally. All of those around us could be affected by this type of blow out.

I believe this is a big probem in our society today, So many people are having BLOW OUTS because of separation from GODLY principles to live
life by.

Just like I took my vehicle to the shop and I’m currently sitting here in the lobby of the service center, We need to come to JESUS and allow him to take the wheels off and expose what issues we have that need to be repaired! I had to swallow the news and make the decision as to what all I could do to keep the vehicle on the road.

GUESS WHAT??? It will cost you, and it will be more that you want to pay. I might even be painful. But the new smoother ride will defiantly be worth it!!! I’m going to enjoy the ride!!
