In an effort to still get the Word of God out that was so powerfully delivered by Elder Joseph Howard we are sharing notes from today’s service. May you be blessed by God’s word and we thank Elder Howard for allowing the Lord to use him in an impactful way today. This was a moving word that if you missed, you missed a true blessing, but here are some takeaways from today’s message.
Stand and Proclaim
1 Peter 3:15-16
The Christian Journey will be tough but you have to:
Stand there anyhow!
Stand in your identity
Stand through opposition
Stand Ready
Stand with integrity
Character and your integrity matters
The three Hebrew Boys developed their identity in private time with God which helped them to stand when the firey furnace circumstance came
We also must develop in Private time with God in His word so that when trials come we too can stand.
King Nebuchadnezzar went after whoever didn’t do what he wanted them to do, whoever he felt was against him, which the Hebrew boys knew even when he demanded they be put in the firey furnace and the heat turned up, they stood on who their God was based on their private experience and building of their faith in God in their own personal time spent with God.
Only one thing matters-Stand and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ- Now is the time
Regardless of the attacks, we are called to stand
Sometimes you have to stand by yourself
It’s easy to stand when all goes well, but It’s hard to stand and do right in times of calamity- but hold to God’s unchanging hand
It’s easy to get caught up in what’s going on around you
But can you stand?
Can you stand the rain?
1. Know your identity / Stand in it
2. Stand through opposition:
Go through the fire and don’t get burned. Come out not smelling like smoke. Can you remain unscathed in the fire? Will you encounter Jesus in the midst of the fire? Can you stand?
Push through the pain to birth something good.
3. Stand ready:
Ready to explain your beliefs
Live a life that represents what you believe
Always be ready to share your testimony
You don’t have to argue the Gospel-It “stands” on its own.
Be ready to share the Word but don’t feel obligated to force it on anyone.
4. Stand with integrity
Stand and Proclaim!
Develop in private and spend time being trained in God’s word so that like the palm tree we are rooted deep (that’s why they bend but they will stand back up because their roots are deep) and the sky scrapers aren’t knocked down with life’s winds and storms because the foundation is built ahead of time underneath and in the foundation of the building.
When we stand in the assignment God puts you in, you will bear much fruit.
Stand and proclaim

-Regardless of the attack, we are called to stand; even if you have to stand alone
Proverbs 23
Proverbs 4:23
-Do what we say; say what you mean
1. The enemy attacks your identity 1st!! (Jesus in the wilderness)
-It is impossible to stand in His presence and not be changed.
-You are not who people say you are. You are who God says we are. We are more than conquerors and overcomers!
-Your private time with God matters. Spend time with him to be established so when the storms of life rage, you won’t break!
2. Stand through opposition
(3 Hebrew boys)
-Can you stand like them?
-It might get “hot”, but God is with us!
-But in the fire is where you can meet God!!
-No matter what you go through; push through
3. Stand ready
-People need answers. And even if you can’t say it like a Pastor, you can testify to God’s grace, mercy and goodness in your/my life!
Soldiers train for battle before they go to war. We must also train by spending time with God. He can add new revelation to your testimony.
God has:
Healed.
Saved.
Restored.
4. Stand with integrity
Go teach all nations!!
We are thankful to those who shared your notes from today to help make our ability to proclaim the word of God, in this manner, possible, and again we apologize for the inconvenience and are looking to set some things in place to where we can prevent further occurrences as such. God be praised even in the midst of mishaps. The devil won’t win, we will still Stand and Proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. 🙌🏽
It was a blessing having Elder Joseph and Daphne Howard worship with us today. Sis. Dicey Lewis will forever be in our hearts.
