Y'all, the clients at Helpline were so thrilled with the beans and peppers! Sad to pull the peppers up tonight, they were so popular at the center. This little burning bush pepper was easily my favorite to visit each week! Already looking forward to spring!!!

Today we sent 27 lbs of peppers, carrots, okra, and kale to Helpline Christian Ministries. That will be the last of our okra and carrots for this year and the rest of the garden is winding down. IPC will be helping to plant some of our first winter veggies this evening. :3

Thank you, Jane, Erskine, and Cary for helping out today for Garden Work Day! We harvested the okra and carrots, tilled under the lettuce and okra bed, and tested out making wattle from the leftover okra stalks. Regular hours continue to be Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-6. See you then!
