Parents because of the threat of severe weather tomorrow, Thursday, February 16th we will close at 12 :00 noon. Parents,
Because of the potential for a large amount of rainfall, that could possibly bring major flooding to the area, we have decided to move our Preschool Christmas Program until tomorrow night at 6 pm. Please have your children here at 5:30 in their classroom with their teacher. Wear their finest Christmas outfits. The kids have worked so hard and are so proud to show you their program. And the teachers can't wait either.
Our special guest was able to adjust his schedule, so cookies and milk for all!

Backpacks. They hold everything a kid needs to get through the day, five days a week, nine months out of the year. Books. Pencils. Hand sanitizer that will get lost. Contraband candy. Of course, what they hold isn’t nearly as important as the backs they’re strapped to. It’s the kids that we speak words of blessing over. Silently sometimes, so as not to embarrass them. But, since the backpacks will go everywhere the kids go from now until May, we’ll speak words over them as well. And hope they rub off on the shoulders that carry them.

So bring your students and their backpacks to Cahaba Heights United Methodist Church this Sunday at 11am. Teachers and administrators, bring your bags as well. And we’ll send you into the new school year with our blessing. And our hopes. And our hearts.

To all parents,
A child in our 4 year old class has tested positive for Covid. All children that attended school in the 4 yr old class on Friday the 29th of July must quarantine until the 3rd of august., and May return to school on Thursday the 4th of August.
To any other parents who do not feel comfortable sending your child to school can quarantine as well, and return on August 4th.
Covid is materializing quickly again and we ask for your patience as we navigate this problem.
If your child shows any signs of sickness please keep them at home and have them tested.

Parents, thank you for your patience. We will be open tomorrow. We do have 1 teacher out with Covid and 2 teachers out sick (negative for Covid). And 3 children out 2 with covid exposure

For the safety of all our children and families, we will be closed on Monday, July 25th. Due to staff shortages and 3 confirmed cases of Covid 19. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

Our hearts go out to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church tonight! Please pray for the families of the shooting victims and the whole Church Family!
Our Preschool will be open tomorrow. There will be extra security and Therapists on hand in the church for the children, Teachers and any adult that might need someone to talk to or Pray with. There will also be a Prayer vigil beginning at 8 am tomorrow morning.
