Good Morning Facebook. I've been meditating on this passage of scripture for a while. God wants us pure, holy and acceptable for Him. Transformed not conformed. Stop conforming to the world's system. Be transformed but it will require something from you.
Romans 12:1-2: I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service of worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (MEV)
To be Holy, acceptable, transformed....renew yourself. Shift your perspective, be intentional about your choices.
How? Renew yourself in the word of God, prayer, praise, worship, fasting. Invite Holy Spirit, let him know he's welcomed, embrace Holy Spirit and the transformation and renewing 🙌🏾🔥This will help you in aligning yourself with the will of God concerning you. Be intentional about your alignment. We can't be in alignment with everything and everybody.💥 Though it may look and sound good, but is it part of God's will concerning you⁉️ I'm just saying.
Lastly, surrender everything. This is part of presenting ourselves as a living sacrifice. To be a living sacrifice, your saying I'm willing to die, I'm willing to give up my ways, my plans, my thoughts (God's thoughts are not our thoughts) so I can be holy and acceptable to the Father.
Sacrifice, surrender, align with the will of God. In all the ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct our paths (give us directions, wisdom, understanding) 🙌🏾
It's time to surrender, I mean total surrender of your heart, mind soul!
