What is your job title or your job as you understand it?
> NextGen Pastor
What's your favorite Bible story? Why?
> It is difficult to pin down a favorite Bible story, however, I do enjoy the first few chapters of Genesis. Most of what we face culturally in the world today is a distortion or an attempt by the enemy to undo what God set in motion in Genesis. You can go item by item and see the enemy's efforts to undo what God started. It ends up being a pretty amazing apologetic for Christianity!
What would you name your boat if you had one?
> Don't Tell Tamara
Who made the greatest impact on you spiritually? Why?
> My wife, Tamara. She just makes me a better person all around. Spiritually, her dedication to her relationship with God sharpens me and I'm a much better man because of her.
What's your favorite movie and/or book (besides the Bible)?
> Movie - "It's a Wonderful Life"; Book - Lamb's Book of Life
What superpower would you choose if you could have one?
> Common sense (it IS a superpower, right?) or teleportation.
Why do you serve in the Family & Rec Ministry?
> First, God's call and direction. Second, marriage and family are not only the building blocks of culture but also of human history. Marriage was the only institution that existed pre-Fall. Helping couples restore some of its glory is enjoyable. Also, helping families find the reward Moses discusses in Deut. 6 (so that it might go well with you) is equally as fulfilling. It also keeps me young. And the folks of Valleydale are incredible to serve with!

What is your job title or your job as you understand it?
> Missional Living Resident
What's your favorite Bible story? Why?
> I'm going to go with a whole book, but Hosea is the most amazing story of undeserved redemption and has such a beautiful reversal. I go back and read it fairly often - I really love it.
What would you name your boat if you had one?
> Mast Have Coffee
Who made the greatest impact on you spiritually? Why?
> My parents. I am so beyond blessed to have amazing, God-seeking parents who have taught me how to study the Bible and what it means to love God with your whole life.
What's your favorite movie and/or book (besides the Bible)?
> Monsters University... I don't watch a lot of movies...
What superpower would you choose if you could have one?
> Teleporation - International Missions would be much easier!
Why do you serve in the Missions Ministry?
> It's all I ever want to do for the rest of my life. What's crazy is that five years ago, I hated my job and didn't want to work in my field of study anymore. Someone told me to write down what I DID want to do. The job I wrote down didn't exist. I said I wanted to have time every week to serve the ministries in our area, but somehow get paid for it, and in some way also work for Valleydale. Now that is exactly what I do. It's amazing how God works!
