We can’t wait to worship with you at Mountain Chapel!

Here’s what’s happening tomorrow:
📚 New Sunday School Time begins at 9:15 AM
✨ Join a Sunday School Class! We’re excited to launch our new Adult Sunday School class this Sunday in the Fireside Room. Whether you’re new to Mountain Chapel or simply looking for a place to connect, we’d love to have you!

🙌 Backpack Blessing during the 10:30 AM Worship Service
🎒 We’ll be praying over students, teachers, school staff, parents, and everyone serving in education as a new school year begins.

🍽️ MCK (K-5th Grade) and Youth (6th-12th Grade) return at 5:00 PM, and dinner is provided!

Whether you’ve been here every week or it’s been a while, tomorrow is a wonderful Sunday to jump back in. There’s a place for you, and we’d love to help you find a Sunday School class where you can grow in your faith and build meaningful relationships.

🎁 Shoebox Sunday Is Here! ❤️

This Sunday is the day!

If you've packed an Operation Christmas Child shoebox, don't forget to bring it with you to church. We can't wait to see our collection grow as we work toward our goal of 150 shoeboxes!

Each box represents more than toys and school supplies. It's a tangible reminder to a child that they are loved by God and by His people, and it opens the door to sharing the hope of the Gospel.

📦 Completed shoeboxes are due this Sunday, August 2.
Haven't finished yours yet? There's still time! If you don't have an official shoebox, simply use a standard cardboard or plastic shoebox from home.

🚢 Thank you for your support of our altar rail offering this month, which helps cover the $10 shipping cost for each shoebox. Registering all of our boxes together allows us to track where they travel and celebrate the lives they'll impact.

🎉 Join us in congratulating our Senior Pastor, Rev. Nick Hughes, on an incredible milestone!

After years of faithful study, perseverance, and God’s provision, Pastor Nick has successfully defended his Doctor of Ministry dissertation and will graduate this December from Anderson University.

His dissertation, Cultivating an Evangelistic Culture at Mountain Chapel Methodist Church through Preaching, reflects not only years of academic work, but also his heart for helping Mountain Chapel reach people with the hope of Jesus Christ.

This journey included seasons of both joy and sorrow, including welcoming his daughter into the world, grieving the loss of his father, and transitioning to a new city and church. Through every chapter, God has remained faithful.

We are especially grateful that Mountain Chapel had the opportunity to be part of this research and are thankful for Pastor Nick’s commitment to growing as a shepherd, preacher, and leader for our church family.

Please join us in congratulating Pastor Nick and his family on this wonderful accomplishment. We look forward to celebrating with him as he graduates this December.
