What a special Sunday at Mountain Chapel! 🌍❤️

We were honored to welcome Bishop Eduard Khegay, Pastor Irina Margulis, and Pastor Dmitrii Lysin as they joined us for worship, a combined Sunday School class, and fellowship throughout the day.

Bishop Eduard translated for Pastor Irina as they shared about ministry and the incredible work happening through our brothers and sisters in Christ across Eurasia and Central Asia. Pastor Dmitrii serves as Senior Pastor of the Eastern Russia and Central Asia Conference, and we are grateful for the partnership in ministry between our North Alabama Conference of the Global Methodist Church and churches around the world.

During their visit to Birmingham, they also had the opportunity to experience local ministries making a difference in our community, including Bundles of Hope and Grace Klein.

Thank you for reminding us that the Church is bigger than one building, one city, or even one country. We are better together! ✝️

🎓 Join us in congratulating Jack on his graduation from Vestavia Hills High School!

Jack has been part of the Mountain Chapel family since he was little, and it has been a joy watching him grow through the years. We are so proud of the young man he has become and are excited for this next chapter as he heads to Auburn University this fall. 🧡💙

What a special Sunday at Mountain Chapel! 🎓✨

Today’s worship was led by our students and graduates, and what a beautiful reminder they gave us from Colossians 3:23-25:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…”

Their leadership, worship, and willingness to serve pointed us straight back to Jesus. We are so thankful for this generation and excited for all God is doing in their lives.
