“I came to the Forge Retreat with my roommate this past summer, and I could not have imagined a better way to start my college journey. It’s so special to be surrounded by other believers who are entering the same season of life as you. Forge is such a great way to build community and find your people before classes even begin.

Getting to learn from my leaders and hear from pastors from all across the area really helped my transition into college and showed me the importance of getting plugged into a church early on. I truly can’t imagine my freshman year without the foundation Forge gave me, and I will always cherish the friendships I made there.

If you’re considering going, take the chance and go for it!! I promise you won’t regret it. The impact it will have on your walk with Christ and the friendships you build will last a lifetime!!”

What to expect!
We wanted to highlight some of the things that we’ll be doing over the retreat and what you can expect! Over the weekend you’ll be part of a family group where you’ll get to know students coming to your same school and be poured into by older students who can walk with you on what it’s like to be coming into college and debrief the main sessions together, attend the main sessions where we’ll get to worship together and hear from local college pastors, and see the ministry fair where you’ll get to meet college and campus ministries before even stepping foot on campus!
