We can’t tell you the amount of families we talk to who have not taken the step of facing the problem head on. The main reason is they are afraid to face the truth. Hearing the truth is very painful for many. Insecurities are real and ugly at times but in order for healing to begin, you have to be honest with yourself. Ask yourself questions on what is causing you to NOT be honest? As a former addict myself, I lied all the time out of experiencing shame and guilt. I wanted my family to approve of me, to be proud and so on. I think on some level, I knew they already were but I hurt them so much and I wanted restoration to happen faster…..so I lied.

You can’t rush restoration. Until I faced the problem head on, I could NEVER gain trust with them. The problem was I wasn’t being honest to myself. I had issues and it was called PRIDE. The mentality of “I’ve got this little bit”is not reality. I don’t have this and will never have this. God has everything and I needed to surrender everything to him and be humble.

What is the problem you need to face head on? Take a moment and jot down some thoughts to this question. Be open. Be honest with yourself.

Hello Everyone!

We are looking for 3 volunteers who are willing to be interviewed for a video we are putting together for our website.

This video will be public in hopes to give others an opportunity to know what it’s like to live a life of Freedom in Christ. If any of these criteria applies to you, please reach out to us.

What we are looking for:

- A child who has been in addiction and has been sober for 5 years or more.
- A parent who gained BACK a child in addiction that has been sober longer than 5 years.
(We want to hear from both perspectives)
- Pastor/Counselor/Director of recovery in a faith based recovery program

We are looking to gain insight from one of each above on what it takes to maintain recovery and how to help those in recovery.

One thing we have learned over the years is how important it is to keep going to Church.

You are not only a role model to your children, but your children will reap benefits of blessings, favor and protection in their lives.

Maybe you have been hurt by the Church, and if so, let us remind you that hurting people go to Church and hurt people…hurt people. That is why we should keep going. It’s not about the building as much as it is about getting Gods word. His word is what changes us. Some people choose to stay hurt, some choose to be lazy and not go and some choose to look only to the source of what gives them Freedom…Gods word!

Let your children see what it looks like to WANT to go to Church and that will help lay the foundation for them to realize how important Gods word is…..not the building.

As you all know, Farrah Nicole Wright and Talitha Ledbetter (mom and daughter) started Chosen by Grace before the pandemic began. Their hope was to help families who were seeking restoration and Coach them through what that looks like. They have a powerful testimony individually and an even more together because of Gods grace. During the pandemic, God gave Talitha a vision of where they needed to go and that’s where The Lizzy Farm was birthed.

Go check out their page below to learn more. 10% of proceeds will be donated to Chosen by Grace to support books, conferences to speak at, coaching and long term help to fund a love one seeking change such as The Foundry Ministries or whatever the need is. I am sure everyone wonders where we have been in the last year with Chosen by Grace.

Quick update:

Talitha Ledbetter resigned from Hope Inspired Ministries and started to follow her passion of farming while she took care of family who were ill. This is when The Lizzy Farm was created. As you all know, Talitha and Farrah (mother and daughter) have a heart to help those in recovery seeking truth.

They help families know what restoration looks like. It’s not easy. It’s hard. Really hard…but oh so worth it! This is where Grace comes in. Please take the time to look around Chosen by Grace page to get familiar with the heart of the Ministry.

Farrah Nicole Wright, the daughter, found out she and her husband were expecting their miracle baby back in November of 2020.

💗They named her Gracy💗

Romans 11:5 “So too, at this present time, there is a remnant Chosen by Grace.”

John 15:16 “You didn’t choose me, but I’ve chosen and commissioned you to go into the world to bear fruit. And your fruit will last, because whatever you ask of my Father, for my sake, he will give it to you! So this is my parting command: Love one another deeply!”

The Lizzy Farm is selling organic farm fresh eggs, freshly baked bread, garlic knots, delicious cinnamon rolls and much more!

10% of the sales will go into Chosen by Grace where we can help families who have loved ones in addiction, hurt and in need of direction.

Who are we? Why do we exist?

Chosen by Grace exist to equip, train and encourage those who are seeking hope for those in addiction, lost and hurting.

We do this by speaking at events/conferences, one-on-one coaching by appointments, and traveling to different groups and Churches to equip families in what restoration looks like.

PLANNING TIME🎉🙌🏻

I am thinking of having a conference/event soon and want to get a head count of who would attend. I would like to have some lite hors d'oeuvres and some items for you to take home. Before I start the planning, who is ready for some encouragement?

Chosen by Grace has been on hold this year due to Covid and some family time. Now that things are starting to settle down and with the election being over soon, our world is need of some HOPE!

I will be looking for a select few people to come and speak at the event and would love for you to be a part of it!
