Parents of college students, please read this one. 🙏

There's a new drug showing up: cychlorphine (sy-KLOR-feen). Early testing suggests it may be up to ten times more potent than fentanyl. Standard fentanyl test strips don't detect it, and reversing an overdose can take several doses of naloxone.

If you have a student in college, bring it up with them this week. You don't need a lecture. Start with a question:
"Have you seen this stuff around? What do your friends think about it?"

Remind them that anything not prescribed to them, or not from a trusted source, is a risk they can't measure.

I wrote this article because the drug isn't the whole story. Every decade brings a stronger drug and a stronger defense, and underneath it all is something as old as the garden: we reach for good things like relief, belonging, and peace in places that can't give them to us.

The good news is that God doesn't wait for us to fix ourselves. He still comes looking for us and asks, "Where are you?"

That’s why we’re launching two new Grace Groups —private, weekly support groups for college students who want a safe place to be honest, find community, and take practical steps toward change.

Whether you’re struggling with compulsive habits, substance abuse, unwanted sexual behaviors, or simply know that something needs to change—you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
