Pentecost Sunday was full of serving, dancing, praying, tears, and the undeniable presence of God. ❤️🔥☔️

We worshipped in the rain.
We fed people.
We prayed with strangers.
We laughed.
We cried.
And we watched God move right in the middle of downtown.

One moment especially wrecked us emotionally…

A woman came up to us in tears and testified that she had JUST asked God to speak to her… and then she looked up and saw us there serving. 😭

Never underestimate what God can do through simple obedience.

Sometimes being the answer to someone’s prayer looks like showing up in rain boots with food, love, and the Gospel.

This is what Pentecost looks like.
Not performance.
Not routine.
Power with purpose.

The fire still falls.
And the fire still reaches people.

TOMORROW❗️
This Pentecost Sunday, FireStarters Church is taking the fire beyond the four walls.

Instead of gathering inside the building alone, we are going downtown to serve, love, feed, and minister to the homeless and forgotten. ❤️🔥

The Holy Spirit was never meant to stay confined to church services. Pentecost was always about power with purpose:
To reach people.
To preach the Gospel.
To become the hands and feet of Jesus in the earth.

We will be feeding the hungry, praying with people, preaching the Good News, and loving on our city the way Christ called us to.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor…” – Luke 4:18

Church, this is ministry.
This is Pentecost.
This is the heart of Jesus.
