We are saddened to share that Howard Moyer has entered into eternal rest. Howard was a faithful friend of St. John’s UCC, and he will be dearly missed. Please join us in praying for his family and loved ones. Information about services will be posted as soon as it is confirmed.

Heavenly Father,

We lift before You all in our congregation who are ill, weary, or burdened. You know every pain, every fear, and every silent prayer spoken in the night.

For those who are suffering in body or spirit, bring Your comfort, peace, and healing. For those carrying heavy struggles, grant them courage and hope. And for those who are nearing the end of their earthly journey, Lord, surround them with Your love. Let their hearts rest in the assurance of Your promise of eternal life, and let their passing be gentle, filled with grace, and wrapped in Your presence.

Bless the families and loved ones who stand beside them, giving them strength, peace, and the reminder that in You, no one is ever truly lost.

Help us as a church family to walk faithfully with our brothers and sisters through every season bringing prayer, compassion, and love. We trust in Your mercy, and we find hope in knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and faithful to carry Your children home.

In Jesus’ name we pray.
